These ladies are actually living in their country and have a right to practice and share their lifestyle with whoever is interested. None of the attendees came by force and everyone had a great time. Is that problematic for you?

2.To know Islam learn the Quran & follow Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).He is the best example of a Muslim. Don’t follow Muslims utterly, u may get misled. No wonder many a time Muslims themselves don’t know what their scripture has to say. I think the general message these women put together is what we need to see in every country. I really appreciate, especially as young Muslim Convert - such an organized effort as this to help people understand Islam, and women who are depicted as oppressed. Why can we not Organize our faith as a whole to promote these messages. There are numbers of faith walking around - why can't we promote our faith? Stand UP!

Just a correction - may Allah reward the sister - It is agreed upon by a majority if scholars that niqab is compulsory (fard) and a minority of scholars says it is recommended/choice (sunnah).

I am an American woman who is Orthodox Christian. I also cover my hair according to the Bible 1 Corinthians chapter 11:3-16. Either I braid it so it is not seen in its fullness or actually wear a scarf depending on the situation. I think these women who did this show are beautiful. It is easy to be a muslim in Australia, because Australian laws protect you as a woman. Move to an Arab country and live your islamic faith over there and you will see how different is the story. No law to protect you against their own laws.

CONVERTING to Islam seems to be a new fad. Lot's of confused western kids that need something different and foreign. It's like hippies becoming hare krishnas in the 60's. It makes them feel different and special. I would have much more respect for all of these western "reverts" if they left the comforts that western civilization has given them and go live in the Islamic world.
