Wellington never lost a battle? First Battle of Porto 1809? Battle of Talavera de la Reina 1809? Siege of Burgos 1812? 1st Siege of San Sebastián 1813? Toulouse 1814? Quatre-Bras 1815?
The baptem of fire for Wellington was the british defeat of Boxtel 1794.
@seal201111 Two years after? Is that so important?
Talavera is a strategic French success, Toulouse was successfully defended, and Ney captured Quatre-Bras. I admitt the mistake for Porto. Anyway, my point is that Wellington, no deny how good he was, was not undefeated on the field.
I have ceased disputing in Youtube, peace my friend.
@Nettempereur ALL wrong. Toulose was NOTsuccessfully defended, wellington captured it - although the french army managed to escape. At Talavera the french army was defeated, crushed and driven from the field. And NO: Ney was UNABLE to take Quatre-Bras, but he did prevent wellington sending forces to aid the prussians, who were then themselves defeated - which then forced wellington to retreat. But ney failed to impede wellington or prevent him from choosing his own ground at waterloo.

@Nettempereur wellington was not at porto, Talavera was a british victory, toulouse was also arguably a British victory and quatre bras was a draw

@seal201111 Are you dumb or what? I don't wish to resume these kinds of disputes, especially with someone whose knowledges in History are so little.
Find someone else. Good night.
