You have to make sure that you have then network update set to m33 update instead of the regular update.

you will eventually have to update because all the stuff for cfw will be made for a higher firmware so i think you should just wait a little until 4.20 m33 comes out which will be in like a month or 2.

a pandoras battery is a device to put your psp into reset mode, allowing you to change the version back to 1.5, then allowing you to set it up to m33's.

Do you have a cfw? If yes then you need to change the update setting in the recovery menu so it downloads M33 firmwares. If not, you gotta downgrade!
