@durutad He is the toughest of the mana beasts, even tougher than Zable Fahr (dark mana beast). Ironically, I want to take This mana beast out early due to the difficulty of the werewolfs in this tower (who are a little easier if you dont wait).

I think that every mana game that has been released should have been like this and seiken densetsu 2... just imagine what a mana game would be like with the artwork of legend of mana, and the adventure style of this and secret of mana. I don't think i will ever play dawn of mana.

FTR: Dolan is either really easy or really hard depending on who is in your party. If you have a ninja Hawk (as the poster does) and you cast each one of his jutsus, or if you have dark Lise use each stat down, you pretty much have it in the bag. Boost all your party stats with either items or light Lise (which you can do while Dolan takes his sweet time climbing); Dolan never attacks for more than "1" (even on Carlie) and his best magic (Spiral Moon) will only hit everyone for about 80-100.

This was the first god beast I killed and I was like around level 20 or 30ish. I used the same method at the beginning as shown in the video so you really don't have to be that high in level. Although the enemies before him almost killed me each room.

Mine had some weird glitches too.

It crashed, if either

1. I talked to one of the brainwashed Navarre raiders from Palo with Lise in my party

or

2. I had Duran in my party, but I didn't choose his storyline. The game would always send me back to the starting screen when the Darkshine Knight told me that he and Koren "lost".

you need the ??? seeds. the earlies u can get (if Angela or Duran is your main guy) is after defeating 2 god beast and then going to the Labyrinth of Ice Walls. u must fight mama poto and then they will summon the papa poto. there must be 2 monsters or less for the papa poto to be summoned. remeber to kill the papa poto last in order to get the seeds.

Best way to fight the God-beasts; Xan Bie, Jiegmund, Land Umber, Danguard, Mispolm, LightGazer, Dolan, Zabre Fahr. That way, you get the most difficult bosses at their best :3 For the record, Xan Bie, Jiegmund, and Land Umber are God-beasts in name only. You should be ashamed of yourself if one of your characters dies when you fight them >.>

this fight i did not consider that hard when i leveled up. i thought the werewolves in the tower were worse as they kept on using high impact charge moves that wipe out a team with two hits. i was hoping you would have got him doing spiral moon...

I'm with you 100%. When I first played the game years ago it left an impression. I eventually bought a copy and cut the tabs out of my SNES slot to play it. Then I bought an SF Game Doctor so I could play the English translation on my SNES. I bought an XBOX just to mod it and play this game with filters running in 1080i. We seriously missed out in the states, and it's time we got this officially.

Dolan was definately the toughest battle for me (then again the werewolve's in the moonreading tower weren't that welcoming either)

I usually always fight the beasts in this order:

Mispolm, Fiegmund, Lightgazer, Dangaard, Land Umber, Xan Bie, Dolan, Zable Fahr.

Btw, that was pretty impressive how you managed to take it down at such a low level! (Man! Climbing the Tower must've been HARD without a final class change!)

Dolan's difficulty drops pretty low if you have any stat-changing spells/items. But you are underleveled if this is the 7th boss so that's pretty impressive.

I took Duran as Knight, Angela as Sorceress, Carlie as Priestess here AND on the wrong night omfg and with only standard items. It was a freaking nightmare. Guy has no elemental weaknesses so that team sucked at Dolan so bad.

@Cyril86 I've made in order : Water - Earth - Fire - Wind - Wood - Moon and then Light the more problematic one was the moon because i don't have any Wood spell so i've used Wind magic spell instead of Wood and it worked ^^

Seiken Densetsu 3 was never released outside of Japan but it did get an unofficial fan translation.
