I do like BJ's version but as said no one can touch Brian's vocals on this song. and hey if you think BJ is so bad at it, go look up Brian Ferry's version now that is a hideous cover of an awesome tune.
I love B.J. thomas' voice, but he does (inmy opinion) an awful version of this great song. Brian Wilson's original studio recording of this great car/love song stands, and has never been touched, even by other members of the BBs. Beside that, B.J. changed the words.

The only one who can truly sing this is BJ Thomas. It is his song and no one can belt it out like he can.
