A classic film with Attenborough playing a psychotic racecourse tout. If you like this, try the Guinea Pig, where he plays a 14 year old who wins a scholarship to a public school.

This scene is brilliant on so many levels. The ride in the terror tunnel is truly sublime. I have yet to see the entire film, but hope to one of these days.

watch this movie in full if you havent seen it before awesome one of the best if not the best british ganster movie ever made. This was scarey stuff when it was made (1947)
