One of the greatest pieces of music ever written while Procol Harum's first two albums were two of the most magnificent albums ever produced. If anyone would listen to "Shine on Brightly" stoned and in the dark that is about as close as they can come to experiencing what the '60's felt like. And that is coming from someone who spent all 3 days at Woodstock where unfortunately Procol Harum was not.

I first bought the album in 1968 while attending Berlitz Academy in Wash DC (Korean language training). A Whiter Shade of Pale was so surrealistic I could not believe how it was able to transport me into another world. This particular rendition seems to have lost some of its mystique but it is a great song and could not be really be performed as well by anyone else. I remember in later years a girl performed it pretty well. I think her name was Lennox.
