I went through this whole video thinking, where the fuck is the Jordan raping of Ron Mercer? The video fails if it is missing that one key play. Sure enough, that epic play was saved for last.
It is in this direction that we must manage and apply strategies today to extend and to improve our conditions of life to live a little bit better and longer. However, we must accept the fact that, in the end, we will, in one way or another, lose the war, but nonetheless, we must keep trying, until the very last instant, to win the battle, negotiating with the circumstances, and this is our main strategical mission to achieve.
The characteristics of this time, analyzing since San Tzu until Maquiavel, are that organizations are machines formed by pulleys, gears and conveyors; and that strategies are competitive wars which major target is to achieve a static vision of victory, trying to resolve conflicts through the elimination of competing parts.
Strategies, in this classical period, are associated to the management of this conflict, currency versus metallic structures (gold), or currency versus labor, forming a set of values that meant to be, before anything else, a rigid representation of control and decision-making processes.
These concerns about strategies can be traced back to the Chinese San Tzu, in " The Art of the War " from 500 B.C., and, more modernly, with Maquiavel in " The Prince " from 1500 A.D. Art, war, power and norms, in truth, are inherent parts to this set of values that has established order as we may see things around us
This is the greatest mix ever!!! It's been 4-5 years it's out and I still watch it to get pumped! Dunks, Blocks, the most explosive actions in basketball, all mixed perfectly with one of the best songs ever, and a powerful speech to ease in to all that. Got to love the respect paid to Mutumbo and MJ at the end.
This is probably my favorite basketball mix of all time. Do you have any personal favorites of your own EP? Whether they're ones you own or ones you've seen.
@mrhybrantvegeta Thanks. My personal favorite is the NBA Live (95 Magic) video but it's over 10mins long (like Man on Fire & 5 Deadly Venoms) so I can't post the whole thing
I can relate. On a regulation-height goal at that. I just saw "White Men Can't Jump" in its entirety for the first time a few weeks ago. The part where Woody Harrelson attempts to dunk, and finally does it off of Snipes' alley-oop in the last game is glorious wish-fulfillment. The reaction was absolutely perfect, and I'd probably do the same if I pulled off a dunk. Come so close many times. Keep playing, and you'll probably surprise yourself. It's an unplanned thing of beauty, I'm sure.
i love this clip with the speach absolutly love it, and i love how some people have tried to use the music from this clip in their own vids and it not work....i love it i wish i could give 100 stars
Sick mix man, timing is sick around 4 minutes and i love how the powerful music was showing the dunks and the more mellow parts was showing the blocks all together sick mix made props
Most of the losers on that team are in this video. It'd be hard to pump me up... with me.
If i were coack K I would tell those bitches to feed Kobe. what.
Maybe i would play this video, i would loop endlessly the parts with Manu Ginobli/Ming, and ask my team if they really could live with themselves being in the same league with those deadbeats.
You did a good job on this clip. My favorite part is about half way through after you show a bunch of dunks in rapid succession then you show Deke and he has that "not anymore" look on his face and then you proceed to go through the great 90s centers blocking a bunch of shots.
I have a mix called 5 Deadly Venoms about Tmac but it's over 10 mins long so I can't post it. The video started a lot of trends in basketball mixes in the past few years: 2.35:1 aspect ratio, splicing between basketball and movie clips, incorporating storylines and themes from films, showing ending credits, deleted scenes, etc.
There is also a rough draft of 5dv2 floating around but it was only half completed.
This is disgusting. I can barely watch this shit without soiling myself.
