Yes, but the one thing i've noticed with it is that, as the video goes on he sound goes off a bit... kind of annoying anyone know anything about this?
I am also finding that there are a lot of VHS DVD recorders that are making DVD copies from VHS where there is audio/video "out of sync". How to correct this? which recorders are good?
Amazing and very nice presented by you! Nice job of explaining Sir. I would just note the some versions of "VHS to DVD 3.0" contains the software only and cost about $29.95. Some version contain the "capture device" (a device to convert your analog signal to digital for you computer. It cost around $79.00 on average, but shop around. Thanks again fora great presentation. I will be buying that soon.
I don't want to buy any hardware or software, I really need to know a way of plugging the VHS player into the computer and recording the video material off onto the PC. Is there a way of doing that without having to spend any money? I strongly believe with a good enough way of doing this, it can work. If it envolves a software program, I'd like to be suggested with anything free if possible. Thank you very much.
You need a capture device. If you dont have one, you cant do it without buying one.
There is no other way you can transfer vhs to dvd without one unless you use a dvd recorder for your tv, but then you cant edit, either way, you have to pay some money.
For capture devices, buy a tv tuner for your computer. You can get a cheap one for 50 bucks.
A couple of my friends and I want to convert our old movies that are on VHS onto our computer. Does this HAVE to go onto a CD/DVD, or can we just capture the videos onto the PC for further use such as editting on other programs or upload onto Youtube?
Absolutely no mention that you can't copy your own purchased movies due to copy protection. It can be done, but you've got to spend another $100-200 for a device that removes macrovision from the analog signal.
I heard that you can legally copy one as backup. Also, techy friends are telling me that there is a software patch to overcome macro vision so you don't need to purchase expensive device... Good luck!

Eu conheso um método bastante simples para DESGRAVAR uma fita vhs,
pois muita gente ja passou pela situação de gravar algo em uma fita muito importante...
basta conferir no meu canal e seguir passo a passo. ;)

Hey, is it possible to burn it to your computer and not just a DVD?

Yup!
scarona 3 years ago
Sure it is. You're not required to put it on a DVD; that possibility is just enabled, but not necessary.

chaoscntrl77 4 years ago
The process is 1) convert analog to digital video and save on computer and 2) burn DVD.
So, that means you have to save to your computer first. ^^
Regarding youtube, that's what HTAustin did using the same product.
