Personally I don't care as long as they're tried and if proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt then have them taken care of. I don't care if it's in NYC or a military tribunal let's get the trials and executions underway.
Why are people surprised by this? Under Clinton, Eric Holder released about a dozen convicted FALN Marxist terrorists and 2 Weathermen, Bill Ayers' buddies. They were intertwined in the 60's.
