My machine makes this sound periodically if it is out of balance - however my model won't spin like this for long, it stops and tries to re-balance the load. I've learned to sort my loads to prevent this. I agree with another comment, judging from this video, the loud sound is the rubber boot / drum pushing on the door latch.
GO TO LOWES OR FUCKING HOME DEPOT (WHERE U BOUGHT THE LG WASHER) AND BUY SOME REDDI-QUICK BAGS OF CONCRETE....FILL THE LG WASHER WITH THE CONCRETE! GUARANTEED THE WASHER WILL NEVER MAKE THAT NOISE AGAIN!
I have an LG washe model wm2455hg and have the same problem, it is just under two years old, seems there is a bearing between the direct drive motor and the basket that goes out. here is the problem, the basket is covered for 10 years, the motor for 7 years, the bearing for only 1 year. so LG must know about this, also labor is not included, now my cost is 125.00 for sears just to come out, then the bearing and removal of all the parts. you decide, still want an LG? ed
I have seen the shocks worn. Some models have three under the tub. two across from each other and one in the back.. It reminds me of a tripode. Try replacing the shocks and it should be as good as it was when you first got this machine, Unless it has always done it from the beginning then you may just be out of luck. Good luck .
It's the door vibrating on the latch arm. I solved it by attaching a sticky backed 1/2" thick foam pad between the door and washer cabinet near the latch. This provided enough outward pressure on the door to keep it firmly against the latch. Hope this helps
@recniz Mine has that too You are so right its defiantly the door no doubt about it, when there is an akward load it will do that until it really speeds up. Foam square should fix that but I used a rubber ring to make it uniform and the door tight against the latch.
What's z point of Zis video

@jan3019
Have you seen the video? With the shipping bolts inside the drum won't move inside the housing. Check the shock absorbers. They are worn out.
