With all do respect but it doesnt store information it is like a number that matches a data base which contains all the info so it connects to the data base and translates the bar code to get the info
I think by 'information' he meant the number itself instead of informations like name and such.. he used information to represent the data contained within the code.
@Ronaldoo91 even when u ride a taxi and u pay debit, it says "connecting to data base", thats where all ur info is stored, say for exampled card number 1 2 3 4 5 6 has name X with money amount of x.xx, it connect to data base and makes the changes, but the card number has to be protected so others can't steal it and copy it and cause confusion in the database and basically hackers are doing it.
