@Bobzeaux Pretty sure it doesn't: no English-language audio track has been made for the series at all, and only after doing that would they consider rerecording the opening and ending themes. Also, the original music and effects track has been lost, so they'd have to remake every single sound to do an English dub. Looks like we're not getting an English dub anytime soon, but I honestly don't mind since the Japanese track is so moving. (Sorry for the delay in response.)

thats cuz the full title of gunbuster was inspired by top gun and a tennis anime who's name i can't remember.

The anime's original Japanese title (Top wo Nerae!) is a parody of the tennis anime Ace wo Nerae! Much of Gunbuster's storyline follows that of Ace wo Nerae! as well.
