BBC Top Gear programme covered this race in December 1998. Top Gear's Vicki Butler-Henderson was driving car No 760finishing fourth. The reason the two blue cars are trailing behind is down to the fact they were using Ford Granada engines and running gear.
if you want to do this yourself you have to get permission from rolls to do it i heard a bout 1 guy got sued. he was doing demo derby changed the engine after getting permission from rolls. and before the derby.
...and sorry to burst your bubble but rolls royce do no such thing, after a car passes from it's first owner it's just another second hand car in the world, do what you like to it.

This isn't the onle RR in history of race.Rolls was in Paris-Dakar raid,I don't remeber the year,I think 80's.
