Anthony is easily the best Phantom out there!! I've heard many others and nobody touches Anthony's performance, I'm sorry. I actually usher for the show in Vegas and it is torture to say the least when Anthony doesn't perform. I'd switch positions with other ushers just to be inside the theater to watch his magic!!

IVE Seen phantom six times San Diego,Washington,3 times in Vegas,2 times in London

first one in her Majesty s Theater and 2nd in the Albert Hall last october during the 25th Anniversary celebration and i must say that i don't like that much the way Anthony performs as Phantom he does it with a very nasal voice and a bit craziness that makes the character look awful but still i enjoyed the show yesterday and i think he is good but not as good as other phantoms across the world.

I love him so much and if you ever go to see it live there is no recording that can capture his voice. It doesn't sound nasally to many extent live. That and, how dose the mask stay on? Anyone know I don't get it XP

@Kuro4344 There is an almost invisible wire that keeps it in place. If you're sitting close enough, you can see it when Christine hands the mask back to the Phantom in the first lair scene.

@JasonCollago309 its' difficult to perform on tv, out of your element. Especially when you've been doing things for so long in certain settings, not to mention the stage is designed to carry sound in a specific way - tv studios are never done that way. That's the difference, I think.

@svoteary: The "dumb blonde," as you call her, is Kristen Hertzenberg, who I'd consider the best performer ever to play Christine. (Go see her in the show live and you'll see what I mean.) It's not her fault she doesn't have much else to do in this song.

@IamErik771 I've seen countless staged concert versions of MoTN and the Christines usually do something supportive to the music. Granted, I would have to see her actual stage performance. Just based on this, I'm not rushing out to buy tickets to her performance any time soon
