  • "Shoot" not shot fag. And nobody agrees with you.

  • Anybody think clint smith needs to shut up and shot those guns infront of him

  • @Glaciereight no one takes you seriously if you continue to misspell and forget to capitalize the first letter of the first and last name. It is not "shot", it is "shoot". Now, go back to your video games.

  • Great video!

  • What is that black 8 shot and that stainless 6? I haven't seen a stainless with a lanyard, ever

  • HOLY MOSES! Put up a warning at the beginning that warns people that they are about to see a large quantity of gorgeous revolvers! Nearly made me get a nosebleed

  • slow is smooth and smooth is fast

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent. Thank you for the video.

  • Tupperware is for the kitchen not the battlefield.

  • If I only had a .22 it is better that a rock.

  • Shot Placement Is & WILL ALWAYS BE KING.

  • @Privat3Kag3 You got it!!!

  • Damn, good video !

  • This is interesting and all but I'd rather use a XDM that can hold 19+1 rounds of 9mm.

  • Would somone tell me about thunder ranch and what it is? I found it by doing reaseach after seeing the thunder ranch "Rock Rifle". I am particularly interested in hearing about what the courses are like.If possible please tell me the some of the history of thier guns and weather you are satified with them. Lastly please tell me about the long range shooting course.I could'nt possibly justify the a need for the course but when i get older i would like to take the medium and long range shooting.TY

  • 2:56 Mickey mouse

  • Where did he get that lanyard ring? I'd like one for my Highway Patrolman, but the serial number is in the middle of the grip frame. Installing a loop on the back of the grip makes much more sense.

  • you sir Mr client smith are a god among men when it comes to firearms

  • @gunsite308

For .44 Magnum, don't forget as a backup in the wilderness in case your rifle lets you down and you've got big game that's charging towards you.

But, other than than, for personal self defense via concealed carry, .44 Magnum is overkill.

  • "the real guns of course are wheel guns" I love that quote

  • I'm new with the revolver. What's good?

  • @Wkwok11 smith and wesson 686 but if you want a carry gun just look at smith and wessons website

  • I like revolvers

  • i like this "there is no stopwatch in a fight nor do i know someone that seen any in a fight",i think he is right, fast doesnt trump accuracy

  • This guys no John Wayne.

  • In response to your "clintism", i don't mean to be disrespectful of my elders, but there is a stopwatch in a firefight. You won't see it, and no one knows how much time is on there, but if it's too much, you're dead. If it's not too much, you live.

  • Cowboys would've carried autoloaders if the technology hadn't arrived way too late.

  • i have a single name for all those who doubt revolvers... ed mcgivern

  • Something about revolvers says more badass then handguns.. *cough* Cowboys *cough*

  • @CosmicDestroyer99 revolvers are handguns

  • @TheAlexagius I meant to say pistols XD

  • Very nice reloading. I LOVE Revolvers, but carry a Kel Tec P-11 9mm normally. It's like a revolver in a sense double action only, slide does not touch the hammer. I have a Taurus 85 5 shot for the house since I leave it loaded for months and months when funds are to tight to take the expensive .38 to the range. *I work in a Grocery Store after all.* Saving up for a new Revolver to replace as my home weapon. Any experience with the Taurus 617? Stub nose .357 7 shot with a good heavy frame.

  • @rozzalenda123 but i win by 8 months.

  • I have a ruger SR9, id rather shoot 17 rounds well then 6.....

  • Uh.... Your right, stop watches aren't in fights or shootouts... But time is, and I don't see why speed wouldn't be needed or essential.

  • @Albrtd3 remember what Gene Hackman said in Unforgiven " the one with the cool head and the steady aim wins" it's true 150 years later. In the police academy we saw many videos of shoot outs almost point blank where nobody got hit. Faster is not always better, fast is good but smooth and efficent will win a gun fight every time

  • @valdostastate77 he also said " I don't deserve to die like this, I was building a house." haha. Very true though marksmanship will win over caliber or ammo capacity any day.

  • @btownsuperstar I love that part!! "deserving aint got nothing to do with it"

  • i would rather shoot 14 shots well than 6 !!!

  • when scanning for other targets, the gun should follow the eyes!!!

  • @bluepeng889 What do you mean? Like cock it? Some revolvers are Double Action (trigger pull is long, and both cocks and releases the hammer). Some are Single Action (just releases the hammer after you manually cock it). Other's are Double Action/Single Action, so the first pull cocks the hammer and releases, then the hammer is reset after the shot and it is in Single Action mode.

  • hahaha revolvers= no magazine worries.. :D

  • @Killablazedude speed loaders?

  • 8 people think he doesn't look like mickey mouse (3:00)

  • Revolvers are sexy.

  • glock on the right hip, cross draw a revolver from the left, ak-47 strapped to my back, thats how i roll lol

  • "clint" love the handgun's in your video class, what the black revoler with the barrel rail.s/w.

  • Revlovers are slow to reload but the best thing about them is IF you pull the trigger and it goes "click".. screw it, pull the trigger again. With an auto loader you'll have to clear the malfunction and hope to hell that's the end of it and it doesn't double feed or something.

  • @TheQuinian And if a revolvers goes click the second time you pull the trigger, you're really screwed. When revolvers malfunction, they tend to break pretty bad.

  • @esh325 But revolvers very rarely malfunction unlike semi autos, They are also much easier to clean and are more intimidating.

  • @sprofitt777 True on both accounts, but a good automatic is very reliable. If semi automatics weren't reliable, then they wouldn't be used by so many military and police today. You don't hear stories of cops and soldiers dieing because of their jammed automatics. Any gun is intimidating to me when it's pointed in my face.

  • heep

  • ... because wolves travel in packs

  • revolvers are amazing

  • It would be cool if his last name was also Eastwood

  • I think swestuff is mentally disabled or is in the 6th grade.

  • you didnt check both sides

  • awww yea usa land of the free.. to bad i live in canada

  • I would love to have one of those lightweight SW 357 8 shot performance center revolvers. SEXY

  • That video looks great but I'm not paying no fifty bucks for it!

  • 3:00 Mickey mouse!

  • Anyone know what holster he is using during the shooting part of the vid?

  • @sorryociffer

Looks like a Milt Sparks 200AW

  • got my first wheel gun today. i want another one now.

  • The only problem I have with revolvers is that it's harder to reload. But that's honestly the only problem.

  • super man.

  • This guy reminds me of Ed Harris!

  • Mickey has guns

  • ur a great man,and you do the reloads so well

  • at 2:58 mickey mouse.

  • It's all about the shooter not the gun. If you know how to shoot then it doesn't matter what gun you carry. It's more of a personal preference than relibility. Armed forces all around the world carry semi-auto pistols for a reason, mostly poly frames. Great video thou.

  • @TheGabbar .......AMEN !!!!! intestinal fortitude counts most.....

  • Muy bueno, sí señor.

  • Comment removed

  • lol, I'm glad to hear you enjoy GUYS of all types, but I know what you mean. I'm a big fan of polymers but still carry a wheel gun just about every day.

  • Defensive Revolver? i was thinking way have a 6 round revolver when u can have a glock 18 with 18rounds mag?? u can relold faster? And if some brakes in ur house i dont think u would be chilling like this dude like; Yes i have ondly 6 rounds i have to make the shot :D You would shoot the shit agenst the enemy not chiling...But im ondly a 15yers old boy so i cant be shore :D sry for my english :)

  • @SweStuff94 You don't need 18 rounds to down an attacker unless you're a panicky one. Watch the bastard try and get up from a direct hit to the center of the chest from a .357 Magnum or a .45 Colt.

  • @TheWitnesserer yeah but i meen it dosent matter if u hit by a 9mm or .45 u go down Ok maby not if ur high But a normal person will go down. And way not have a usp with 14 rds with .45 and u shoot good isent that better then a revolver??? cant relly see anny good with a revolver!

  • @SweStuff94 There's a difference between the .45 you're talking about and the .45 Colt I'm referring to. A 9mm is like the .38 Special with far less powder. The .45 you're talking about I'm assuming is the .45 ACP, the shorter version of its .45 "Long" Colt predecessor. Because revolvers typically do not limit the length of the cartridge thanks to a cylinder rather than a magazine, they tend to fire more powerful rounds.

  • @SweStuff94 @SweStuff94 The three most distinct advantages of a revolver are: 1) Ease of operation, 2) Almost non-existent jams (unless you regularly use your gun as a hammer), and 3) traditionally more powerful rounds. I shoot both semi-automatics and revolvers regularly and I feel I'm competent enough to use either one in a firefight (God forbid), but if I had a choice between one or the other, I'd pick the revolver simply because I don't ever have to worry about jams or duds.

  • @TheWitnesserer : yep, auto or revolver both effective

  • @SweStuff94 But I digress. Since we're on the topic of stopping power, the caliber definitely does affect stopping power. Even a well-placed +P load of 9mm might not down an attacker immediately, but a well-placed .45 Colt has a higher chance of doing just that. Of course all bullets can kill, but stopping power is your concern when facing a charging attacker. A .45 ACP is adequate and I'd prefer that over a 9mm in any defensive situation, but for reasons I stated before, I'll take the revolver.

  • @TheWitnesserer Do u know the grate thing about us humans me thinks difrent :)

  • @SweStuff94 It's not about opinion. It's about logical soundness. What are you gonna do when the thing jams? It doesn't matter if you have 20 rounds in a magazine when your first round jams because now you have a hammer instead of a gun.

  • @TheWitnesserer i meent WE* in the last coment and look att glock exstreme test a glocg has been dig down in 2 yers!!!! and is all cover with rost and dirt and still had no jams Look how often do a glock jam? if u cleen it and take care of it it doent jam! all revolvers dude say the same think It can JAm but ok It maby jams what? maby a few of 5.000 rounds? if u fire good ammo. so i still think a Pistol is better. ANd you know what guss way allmost evry army in the world uses pitols not revoers?

  • @SweStuff94 I don't think you understand the point. How often your gun jams isn't the issue here. You can't predict when your gun will jam. If you're in a firefight with some asshole breaking into your house, what will you do if your gun happens to jam?

Are you willing to bank your family's safety on a 0.01% jam rate over a 0% jam rate?

And what the hell does the Army have to do with home defense?

  • @TheWitnesserer Yeah i see ur point BUT its 99% more chase u will run out of ur mag then a jam. even if ur gun jam its faster to fix(if its a "standar jam") then reloding a revolver under stress! And before in the coments A revolver has big fire power, But is that reely good? the bullet going throu the Attacker and the bullent hits ur child or wife is that good? those are a bit over powerd.

  • @SweStuff94 JHPs don't overpenetrate the way you're describing, and unless you're trigger happy, ammo won't be a problem. Statistics show most firefights end in 5-6 shots, about the cylinder capacity of a typical revolver. If you're shooting FMJ in a defensive situation, it doesn't matter the caliber, it will go through your target and into five different houses. Research the calibers more before calling them "overpowered" please.

On a side note, I'd love to see you unjam a gun under stress.

  • @TheWitnesserer i would love to see that Statistics. The MOST gun figths isent like fire like this dude in this vid. Most gun figits are fireing att they enemy and look fore cover. Ok if u got a lot of trianing u maby dont do that But allmost evry gun robery and attacks on cilvis persons they do that.(the dude thats being attackt)

  • @SweStuff94 Where the hell do you live? Iraq?

The statistic I pulled is actually more than the actual number. The vast majority of self-defense gunfights end in zero shots, which is why that "statistic" is not reported. Search it up on any engine you like.

And if you wanna use some common sense for a change, think of it this way. Most self-defense scenarios happen from 21 to ZERO feet. Do you think you'll have enough time to fire any more than 3-5 shots before one of you guys goes down?

  • @SweStuff94 Unless you're on the run from the law, on the run from the mob, live in the Congo, or live in a MW-Dominated Fantasy World, your gunfight (God forbid you ever get into one) has a huge chance of ending in less than 6 shots. Why? Because he's so goddamn close that one of you will eventually get hit or the son of a bitch will run or surrender the moment you pull your piece on him. Like I said before, unless he's a hitman (EXTREMELY DOUBTFUL), he's not out for your life, just your money.

  • @SweStuff94 If you really need a reference to stats, try this page. w w w . suite101 . com (slash) content (slash) selfdefense-involving-a-firearm-a140512

  • @TheWitnesserer i agree with most thing that u say But Back to the garument thes startend this:so whats better a pistol or a revolver in a defensven part: im gonna keep this low:Good/Bad thinks of them(revolver/pistol)

Pistol: hige ammo count GOOD,can jam easyer then a revovler BAD.

Revolver:low ammo count BAD: dosent jam that easy GOOD.

Anny way i still thinks that a Glock or a colt 1911 That has been tested and works, and fires a .45 round and has +7rounds are better then a revolver.

  • @SweStuff94 Low ammo is only bad if you don't practice. High ammo is bad if you're trigger happy; you have more bullets to kill more neighbors with when you miss. If you spend enough time at the range, you don't need all that extra ammo. This isn't Modern Fucking Warfare.

  • @TheWitnesserer yannkys :S

  • @TheWitnesserer You won the arguement. I salute you.

  • @GMGvanS Wasn't trying to win lol. Just trying to make a point. He made his, I made mine. Thanks, though, haha.

  • @TheWitnesserer And a nadder reson a pistol is better a attacker are mostly not alone, 6 rounds maby dont fix that i meen how meen wound a normol dude pull out hes gun and fire One bullet center mass. A person under stress FIRE a lot Yeah its esay to say this in the chatt: Yeah i wound aim my fire and drop that B*tch! but in reel life i think most wound fire 1-5 rounds before reely see what had happed thats how MOST people are under stress/gun fire!

  • @SweStuff94 Good God it takes me ten minutes just to decipher your coded language.

Okay, THINK this time PLEASE. If you're a goddamn robber trying to take a few goddamn bucks, WOULD YOU STAY AND FIGHT SOME DUDE WHO JUST PULLED OUT A GUN? I sure as hell wouldn't risk my fuckin' ass for just a few Benjamins. This is the reason why most gunfights end without even a freakin' shot fired.

  • @TheWitnesserer :amen , on ur comment on thunder ranch defensive revolver'...

  • Great videos

  • what would make a good concealed carry revolver?.

  • @donniedarko66699 SP101. Check it out. Actually, all the little ones (.38 Special and stronger) are great for concealed carry, but I picked that one out because I'm biased toward guns I own lol. Don't bother with .22 LR revolvers. They're hooey.

  • Thunder ranch for 2011 calander training. Please send information Thank you

  • fantastic video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THE INTRO IS VERY AMERICAN

  • it 3:00 he looked like mickey mouse.

  • @waflezinc but i envy him with all those guns he has. "paid to shoot"

  • I own more autos then revolvers, but if given the choice, in a fight or die situation I would much prefer to trust my life to a good double action revolver then one of my auto's, if misfire just squeeze the trigger again, remember the loudest sound in the world is CLICK, especially when you have to drop a clip n clear a jam lol. in a life or death situation.

  • @heymane2 I carry both. Just not in public lol.

  • I wish I could get a revolver like the COLT Detective Special 2" snub. I like these much better than the Smith J-frames. The COLTs hold six rather than just five in the cylinder. Too bad they aren't available anymore and used ones seem to start at $600 bucks. Can anyone recommend a good compact 2" snub that holds six and can handle +P?

  • @craigdamage Rossi snub nose. You wont spend a whole lot money, but you will have a good, tough, working revolver.

  • another 5 shot j frame carrier here. I feel armed with five and can "stay alive with five" just fine. 18 rounds are great, and 30 is better, and 100 is even better, but it can't slip into the pocket, it can't be light and always with me, and if it's not there, it won't save me. I like autos too, believe me, but revolvers for carry, and home defense just happens to be where it's at for me. My wife won't touch em, she has a high cap auto, personal choices guys. Thanks.

  • CLINT WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE THE FIFTEEN IN THE MAGAZINE.IF YOU COULDN'T HIT EM WITH SIX YOU CAN KEEP THE BAD GUY OFF YOU WITH THE OTHER NINE.ALSO A REVOLVER MAKES A GREAT HAMMER

  • what holster is Clint Smith using in the video?

  • @freediverga Milt Sparks 200AW.

  • at 3:01 he looks like mickey mouse

i wish i had a gun (damn those strict uk laws)

  • 0:10 hahah I love the look on his face

"Yea I got me a cannon"

  • Hell yeah, real guns are wheel guns.

  • i like this video! do I really need to touch my nose like him after holstering my gun?

  • Comment removed

  • Get a double action revolver w/a shrouded or exposed hammer. They can be fired da and sa..

  • @ RoyalAlba1....the best one is a Double Action revolver as you can use it in single action mode if you have time...or in double action mode if you don't have time. train at the range so you'll see that pulling the trigger of a revolver in double action mode isn't difficult and training makes you accurate. choose between .45acp/.45autoRim and .357 magnum.

  • The vast majority of revolvers are DA, but can be manually cocked for a short & light SA trigger pull. DA shooting is faster, but not as accurate (champion shooters who produce both stunning speed & accuracy with DA may disagree).

DAO is found on concealed carry revolvers where you don't want a hammer spur that would risk snagging on clothing when drawn in an emergency.

  • He doesn´t look after other people after he shoots like he said it before.

  • Great techniques, great control and very informative, some guys and gals I see handling weapons really NEED to watch some of your vids, keep up the good work and shoot safe ;-).

  • which will cause more damage 9mm or .357 magnum

  • .357 is much stronger than 9mm. .357 is even stronger than .45 acp.

  • The .357 magnum is much more powerful than the 9mm and it will cause much more damage. The .357 magnum round gets around 831 ft·lbf at muzzle ! while the 9mm gets to the middle 400. That's about twice the energy ! It is also much stronger that the 45 ACP which gets around 587 ft·lbf. Thats around 200-300 ft·lbf energy hitting you. The .357 magnum round has been proven to have great stopping power over the 80 years designed and have stopped bad guys dead in their tracks. It is a great round !!

  • I think wheel-gun is the best!

  • Wheel gun or autos, guns are great in the right educated hands

  • they say too much ammo is a hardware solution to a software problem. people who are not confident with their shooting skill need more bullet to have better chances of hitting the target. not so with experts like clint smith who know where to place one of his 5 or 6 rounds.

  • the other factor is " knowing" what to do to stay alive...best advice..."avoid if possible but be ready"

  • the reality is two major factors come into play here, under the incredible stress of a defensive gun fight, " mental toughness under extreme stress"matters more than having a revolver or automatic, if you have that first, revolver or automatic is irrelevant, either handgun is extremely effective, the key is composure in a life or death battle....it's all a matter of preference.. mine a .357 revolver..this auto vs revolver has been going on for years....the real debate is, "mental toughness'..

  • 2:57~3:03

    He's like Mickey Mouse

  • Most gunfights are going to be 2 to 3 shots at 2 to 3 feet distance and it will be over in 2 to 3 seconds. If you really need 14rds, then your gunfight will be making national headlines due to the epic scale.

  • Like he said, wolfs travel in packs. So if you have 6 shots and say one or two of the 'wolves' are also armed then what? Wouldnt you agree that more firepower can actually improve your chances of saving your life? I love my 357 snub nose by the way.

  • col. cooper pointed out that the most men he had heard of being killed in a defensive gunfight were 5, in africa, by one of his Gunsite students. wolves travel in packs, sure, but that's because they're cowards. once you start shooting, especially if you kill one of them, they're going to HAUL ASS.

  • That is telling it like it is. Most shots are very up close and over in a few shots. I am 100% ok with carrying my 5 shot J Frame 642 Airweight. I also have a 686 .357 Magnum for home defense and for winter carry. I like the simplicity of revolvers. While everyone has their opinions I know a 25 year veteran firearms instructor who went to the FBI academy. He told me their is nothing wrong with autoloaders however most people do not need 17 rounds for personal defense. He carries a 5 shot J frame

  • truth be told revolvers are sort of out dated while i would take a smith&wesson 6 shooter over a davis industries.380 or another shitty gun but comparing a sig or a glock to a revolver there is really no comparison from the rate of fire accuracy and mag compacity but in your day to day activities its not really like we are lving in bahgdad so a 6 shot snubnose should offer you all the protection needed but u have to train with it because if ever needed someone wth an auto will have the jump on u

  • Personally I cannot decide whether a revolver or a semi-auto is to be preferred for self-defense. Guess, I like them both, and each weapons type has its own advantages and negatives. I alternate between both on occasions. On my carry license I have two revolvers (a K frame .38+ J frame for back-up use) and a G-17. I feel well-protected by either the G-17 and K frame. The J frame is sometimes even used as my main self-defense gun, because it's much easier hidden than either the G-17 or K frame.

  • Well, semi-autos are easier to use and reload understress and the Miami shootout has shown a need for more ammunition, in this day and age the only advantage the revolver has to offer is that it is easier to control and it doesn't throw the casings everywhere, but the latter is not really a concern for most legal purposes.

  • well the thing is, for police officers, revolvers are just flat out obsolete, as Miami showed. they DO need the bucket of bullets, because they might get into a protracted shootout. just a normal concealed carrier will never get into a situation where they need a bucket of bullets, and technically, if they actually fought it out, they would end up in jail afterwards. if you're not a cop, fleeing > shooting it out

  • Not always, it depends on your laws, here you have to be able to retreat "safely", obviously you can't do that with an armed attacker close enough to see you and holding a remote weapon such as a firearm, or within 21' and holding a contact weapon with no barriers, there is also the violent felony clause in most states and the ability to defend others, better safe than sorry I say and I always have 31 rounds on me when off duty and 46 on, you could find yourself pinned down someday.

  • It was the Hi-cap 9mm auto-pistols that failed during the Miami FBI fiasco. The agent that ended the fight did so with a S&W 686 firing the highly effective Winchester 38 Special +P 158gr LSWC-HP. An effective bullet accurately placed succeeded where Hi-Cap mags launching buckets of bullets failed miserably.

  • The Miami FBI disaster was ended by an agent using a S&W 686 loaded with 38 Special +P 158 grain lead hollow points. It was the newly-issued 9mm auto-pistols that failed to stop because they were using bullets that expanded far too much and did not penetrate deeply enough.

It was accurate shooting with a highly effective 38 Special bullet that ended the fight, not a high-capacity magazine!

The ammo used was Winchester 38 Spl +P 158gr LSWC-HP's I think and it is still available today!

  • @coltperc The Miami disaster happened because the FBI entered a gunfight armed with handguns and a few shotguns against highly trained and well armed men. You never intentionally enter into a gunfight with a handgun. A handgun is designed to get you back to the long-gun you never should have put down in the first place.

  • @StillAlive5by5 Agree 100% with you. Personally, if I expect trouble then I'm packing a rifle!

But the fact is that in the FBI Miami fiasco, the gun that ended the battle was a S&W 686 loaded with 38 Special +P 158 gr lead hollow points! The 686 may not make much of an impression amongst hi-powered fire-power, but in the end the 686 made the impression that counted.

  • He makes it sound like automatic pistol users are irresponsible. We are all accontable for every round that goes down range. Automatics are still more simple to use, there is less transition time and you have a higher capacity. I'd rather have the added capacity and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

  • Revolvers is cool, but I rather shoot 14 rounds well instead of 6 well...

Good tips in the movie thou.

  • Finally! Someone who likes "old fashioned" things!

For myself, the reason for a small 5 shot revolver is that .38 cal. is enough. And I would not be tempted to lay out "suppressing fire" the way I would with a semi-auto. I'd be picking my targets more carefully.

  • glock for me but a snubnose on my ankle.

  • Great video. People seem to have forgotten about how great revolvers are.

  • @HassanMansour555 yeah because better guns were invented.

  • @shadowsteel5 Hahaha! no im sorry, you mean "more likely to jam/break/missfire guns were invented" revolvers will out last you and your kids,

  • @robertson109 yeah since loads of armed forces use revolvers, old novelty guns,

  • @HassanMansour555 yeah dude ur exactly right

  • @HassanMansour555 agreed. no jams, and if it misfires just pull the trigger again and it fires the next round. everyone is now for ammo capacity. that u must have like 20 rnds under the gun. how sad

  • @lhlover52 Cuz all they do is spray and pray. I carry a .357 Magnum GP100 for self-defense. It carries six cartridges. All I need is one. The other five are for buddies he might have.

  • did anyone see a stopwatch in a gun fight? lol

  • I'm a Sig 226 fan myself but the revolver has many virtues..especially in ease of use under stress. Pull the trigger and it goes bang. If it doesn't ... pull the trigger again. Not an option with any self-loading pistol.

  • Which is just one of the reasons why I would choose the revolver over a semi-auto in a "do or die" situation. As much as I love my Glock, as well as my other autos, my S&W 625-2 is what I'd be drawing first.

  • To answer the question on using mild loads is for a new shooter that might be interested self defense....It provides a new shooter to practice marksmanship instead of worrying/anticipating recoil. Good video. In a do or die I would take a ubiquitous Glock17 over ANY revolver.

  • he looks like mickey mouse at 3:00

  • I started out carrying a revolver. Then I fell for 9mm semiautos. After that, I carried a subcompact 1911. Then 9mm again for a few months.

Guess what ... ? I've gone back to the revolver.

  • One HUGE! advantage of the revolver is the use of underloaded hand loads for practice. Because a revolver does not rely on the explosive power of the cartridge to actuate the gun. Lot to be said for the revolver.

  • how is using underpowered loads for practice beneficial?

  • Still like the Sig Sauer P 226

  • No disrespect intended. I am from Canada so carrying ANY handgun is illegal. I shoot handguns and maybe I need to look into a good Revolver. Good video!. Try something new! Something old can be new again! Antiquated... Never!

  • It was a very good demonstration on how to use the venerable revolver. I tend to agree, If you are a good marksman, Why should you feel out gunned with revolver in hand? We all remember Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry...Did I fire six shots or only five?
