holy cow. for fun, i just did a google search of myself, friends, and family members, and this link popped up when i typed in my dad's name, galen enochs. know him? i remember him telling me as a kid about this crazy house with hippies and unicyclists and drunkards. i'm thinking this is probably the same place, eh?
My band used to play all the frat-parties for you guys from '65-'67 including the Palmer House parties. We were "December's Children", better known as "Marrone's Brother's Band". Our name changed as music styles changed throughout the sixties. It became easier for all those drunks to just call us Marrone's Brother's Band so that's what they did. What fun! The parties were so rowdy that we really meant it when we played "We Gotta' Get Out Of This Place"! Thanks for the memories, Roger Marrone
Off campus house on 157 just a few hundred feet NE of the main entrance to the university. Was torn down sometime in the 80s for highway right of way.
Known for scholarship, a few parties and as a temporary shelter for more than a few wandering poets, jugglers, unicyclists and hipsters.
i keep comin' back to watch this video. nostalgia for my pops and for edwardsville! got any more videos like this one! i love it!!!!

Thank you for the fun comments. Ask your sister Erin if she has ever jammed with Bird.
That's me. I occasionally get to Austin and would love to play some music with her again and you too if you play.
My best to your mom and hug your dad for me.
We indeed had a lot of fun in Edwardsville.
