Anybody notice a relatively significant difference in the pitch of this music compared to the actual game's version -- plus the extra verse at 1:03? The Game Boy version has that verse at 1:03, but the NES game doesn't have the verse.

it's basically a tetris kind of style. except there are germs (red, blue, and yellow). Each pill has 2 sides (ex: half yellow half red), that you can flip to match the germ color. Once you get 4 of the same color in a row (including the germ as one of the colors), that germ disappears. the whole goal is to get rid of all the germs without filling the space with pills all the way to the top.

Yeah, the objective in Dr. Mario was to clear a jar of all viruses inside, using colored pills to do so. There were red, yellow and blue, the main difference being color. Put enough same-colored pill halves in contact with a virus of the same color, and it will get removed in a small pop. Harder levels typically had more viruses inside, with faster-falling pills. You lose if any pills plug the mouth of the jar.
