the tau battlesuit died on purpose becuase he knew that in the greater good,altough h could jst shoot the tyranid to death. it would have spoiled the chaplains bad-ass moment.

Only have one issue. A real dark angel chaplain would never, ever fight side by side with a tau! They are xenos scum! The dark angels barely trust other space marines! The chaplain shudve turned around and shot the tau right in the chest, becuase thts were the tau is inside.

@BornCanEmo It isn't too uncommon for Tau and Humans to temporarily cease fire in order to stop a larger threat, such as Tyranids or Necrons. What happens afterward, thats different.

It could be worse, you could be Blood Angels teaming up with Necrons in order to stop Tyranids...God damnit Matt Ward.

@Sargedaheavy see now it is common for humans to stop fighting and team up with Tau, but one, Space marines arnt human. they are so geneticly enhanced that they only resemble humans, and then just barely. secondly, i cud see a chapter like maybe Ultramarines or Salamanders teaming up, but the Dark angels dont trust anyone, including there own kind. especially a chaplin. also the Dark angels are a very proud Chapter and just wouldnt accept help from them.

That is what I was thinking. The graphics here are only a few levels below the Ultramarines films, and the fact that he did this by himself is impressive. Robfry2008 should really consider of applying to Codex Pictures someday. If they saw Robfry's works, I'm sure they would consider of hiring him.

This was a fantastic animation i especially loved that awkward moment when the tau and the Dark angel looked at eachother.

i will say one thing though you have at least 5 other marines there and a few main characters id try spending some time finding voice talent lol its not like you have to animate a lip sinc anyway most of the space marines have helmet's

He could probably have turned it to hamburger, but as someone said earlier, the Tau recognized that if he killed the Tyranid with a mere gun, the universe would have been a slightly less bad-ass place than it would have been if the Chaplain had his moment. Hence, for the Greater Good, he sacrificed himself to allow the Chaplain's badassery to shine.

I think you did the tyranid creatures rather well, and the only thing I would change is that there would be much more varied creatures. (I know it would take ages, it's just a small thing, being a nid player I can't see many swarms having two types of creature and that's it, especially at a facility where the tau were holding them)

The tau crisis suit driver would have shot his fusion blaster in the face of the carnifex but then the tau saw the greater good and doing that would have deprived the Chaplain of his badass moment of killing the carnifex
