I'm an American that has been living in Denmark for almost 4 years and there are pros and cons to both country. I have a Bachelor's degree from the US and a Master's from Denmark. One education system is not better than another, they teach very differently but both have accomplished what they are suppose to do: educated me with skills for my career
It doesn't matter about the country as a whole but rather what works best for the individual and finding a place in the world that fits your values.
Denmark is not quite `hell`, but it's on it's way there. Yesterday, another `BS` news report told Danish people than the reason the cost of food had risen so much was because of problems in Australia and Nigeria. Well then, that's okay then isn't it. We just have to suck it up, there's nothing we can do about it`. The State has explained why we now pay almost double what most people are paying in the rest of Europe for food, Electricity.oil, clothing, transport, tax etc. etc.

The government continually cuts down on the schools, resulting in strikes from students and teachers. I remember when I was in 1st grade everything was fine, then 4th grade we got moved to a lousy dusty classroom in the attic of the school. In 6th grade we couldn't even get new books and in 8th grade our chairs were collapsing en masse.

We have way better economy, and we atleast have a healtcare, we have a lot of bad schools but the schools in U.S. is just as bad, i have a friend who goes to high school there, she says it's way easier than in Denmark.

I'm not so sure that true happiness lies in atheism/agnostisism, but rather it lies in security, prosperity, family and personal progress. Security and prosperity aids you in making family, and personal progress gives personal contentment.

I'm an American that has been living in Denmark for almost 4 years and there are pros and cons to both country. I have a Bachelor's degree from the US and a Master's from Denmark. One education system is not better than another, they teach very differently but both have accomplished what they are suppose to do: educated me with skills for my career
It doesn't matter about the country as a whole but rather what works best for the individual and finding a place in the world that fits your values.

The government continually cuts down on the schools, resulting in strikes from students and teachers. I remember when I was in 1st grade everything was fine, then 4th grade we got moved to a lousy dusty classroom in the attic of the school. In 6th grade we couldn't even get new books and in 8th grade our chairs were collapsing en masse.

Hardcore religious people are most common in countrys that suffers alot from wars, diversity and poverty. A last deperate attempt to try to forget about reality and escape into a made up comfortzone that gives you atleast some hope for something better. True Happiness and Atheism/agnosticism goes hand in hand and makes sense to me. Greets from your dear neighbour, Sweden :)

Religion does have a tendency to flourish during war time and catastrophes, but I think that's more because people have to face their own mortality, than anything else. And when faced with mortality, many will often turn to religion as well.
I'm not so sure that true happiness lies in atheism/agnostisism, but rather it lies in security, prosperity, family and personal progress. Security and prosperity aids you in making family, and personal progress gives personal contentment.

Unfortunately humans are too complex to be soves with a simple solution, except perhaps killing them.

Oprah amongst these highly civilizied women with her appearance seems like being from another planet,so limited and narrow minded,poor woman she's been raised that way like millions of women regardless of the life range in a backward place in the world like America is.She needed to visit countries like Denmark and meet women like this to realize that there are more considerations about life except her own narrow minded.Yet I find her basically a good person who is willing to help other people.

A atheist can belive in spirits, reincarnation and a greater force, the only thing atheist don't belive is gods (definition of god: a conciente being that create all, so if you say you belive a 'major force' that is not a being, then it is not god).
