  • super man baby!!!!!

  • @aznboykevin1 i thought this guy was awesome!

  • i thought it was tsonga at first

  • @animaanimaanima AHHAHA he does look like him...he was damn good. too bad no one was there to really test him...and i heard he's joining the army...

  • yo i just did that today at practice i pay for north Haven high it feels dirty doing that that ball never comes back over the net after its hit

  • @Bballen23 was it hard?

  • Pete Sampras loved to do this slam.

  • If this is their resident's superstar, the level of play out their must be really low o.O

  • you realize this is the Pattaya Open which had players from Europe--France, Germany, etc...and he has an ATP ranking...

  • You can tell that by just watching him play for 10 seconds?

  • he won last year, without dropping a set. the final was 6-1, 6-1... he's awesome but too bad he has to join the army or something.

  • wtf? thats really not that hard... watch sampras if you want to see an amazing dunk, he was known for it... this is easy. Youve never jumped to hit a smash?

  • watch it again. it's not an overhead. it's a forehand...

  • oh k i see his grip now... thats a little bit more impressive but still not that difficult.

  • for me it would be difficult...but i'm like three feet tall. come on, when was the last time you seen someone do that? too low for an overhead, but too high for a forehand... I was like wow...

  • well its a bit unconventional... most guys would just wait to hit an easy smash but if you had the reach it wouldnt be too hard.

  • actually catching it early prevented his opponent from getting into position, but you have to be able to do this...damn I'm going to try this :D

  • I'll help you a bit.

Watch badminton jump smash. You always think you cannot jump high enough, but, belive me, no matter who you are, you can jump high enough to have the time to swing it aiborne.

Takes a lot of practice to get perfect timing. Used to do this at badminton, wonder if I could give it a try on a tennis court.

Try it again and again and you'll get the timing. Once it's in you, it won't quit. Only take a few try even after a very long time.

  • well, kind of. if u can do JS in badminton, u can probably do this. but, the difference is that tennis racket is much harder to swing (yes, plus u hold it near the end so it has much greater moment of inertia, and for badminton you choke up the grip more). so you have to get the tennis racket ready sooner. but the concept for timing is kinda the same.

  • wow that is a really amazing shot i probably wouldnt b able to do that

  • not too many guys could

  • lol thats insane!!! superman is right! woa

  • this guy was so good, but the word on the street is he doesn't have enough money to tour so he is joining the army

  • that sucks :'( That would be a waste of talent. :-(

  • not good as federer

  • that is some dwight howard stuff man!!! btw for semi western u hold the grip like a frying pan rite? is that andy murray's grip?

  • I think he did that all with a semi-western / eastern forehand grip too! I could do it, but probably with a continental grip though...

Its possible to do it, but hard to place the ball lol.

  • This guy was so good he was coasting in all his matches. Last year he won the final 1 and 1. I don't think he lost a set

  • No clue on that sorry I am using my itouch and markedthis as spam by accident
