and they really are the gimmick in this...they help thrust air towards the candle -_-" so he is literally cheating...if you practice speed punches by extinguishing candles...use a T-shirt or don't put on any shirt...and don't cheat yourself -_-" it won't help you or do you any good...it won't even make you look cool because someone will eventually see your mistake and expose it :P...sorry but...practice without the magician outfit ;) peace...:)

I've rewritten a comment on here several times now. It IS wind, but that isn't the point. the point is his ability to generate enough force/movement/control to move the wind to knock the flame out.

There is no "magic", and this isn't anime. This is a tried and true training and testing technique. try it sometime. It's easy to laugh when your outside looking in.

bw10000, if it's not all about showy appearances, then do one with a T-shirt on. Then show us a sequence of three or four candles being extinguished the same way, only pick out the middle one first please.

It's quite easy. I've seen a man surround himself by 5 lit candles, and put them all out with punches in 1 second.

The effect is the same. The power and velocity is creating the wind, hence it is a gauge of 拳风 .

The only different may be the breathing technique, and the internal technique or neijia forms seems to be relaxed during execution.
