he's bald enough, buff enough, black enough.... but can he act? do a video of him reading some dialogue. have him read it out of a comic, so he doesn't just reprise someone elses performance. i couldn't make a judgement until i hear him do some lines. but that said, he's got the look.

I am sorry but they should never have given the idea that Tyrese would be good for Luke Cage. I dont care what he does he will never be able to pull it off. Its like Shaq playing Steel, and we all know what happened there. If anyone should play Luke it should be Henry Simmons

luck got his power from a machine while he was in prison not from some fluid. Luke was set up by his partner to go to prison but was a drug dealer. his power isn't power by rage.
luke cage doesn't lose his temper much. Luke cage is one my fav superhero I have ALL HIS COMICS FROM POWER MAN TO HERO FOR HIRE. Do your research

Michael Duncan Clarke would be perfect as Luke Cage, In the Marvel Comics, Luke Cage stood 6'6 weighed 425 lbs of steel muscle, Tyresse is only like 6'1 MDC is 6'5 and Ginormous. But this guy did pretty good with the music and all.

I think this guy would be a great GREEN LNATERN from the JL series on Cartoon Network. The word on the street is there is might be a project soon. Luke Cage is good too but I'm afraid the younger guys won't know about him... GO FOR IT BROTHER!!!

Luke Cage was the first black superhero to get his own comic AND series. I think your dad would be a good Luke Cage, but I think more than Luke Cage he would be a good Black Panther. Just my honest opinion.

This guy does look the part. But we didn't see him act. So you can't just knock Tyrese Gibson down. And plus, Luke Cage always looks different in comics. There's a number of dudes who could play him.
But anyways, this was a good entertaining video. And I loved the costumes.
