  • ive known this band for years, have watched them progress both live and on cd.... I love these guys and hope that they keep making music for all eternity cause it will only keep getting better!

  • I'm completely addicted to this band. The whole album is just a masterpiece!

  • I don't want FTM to get bigger..they are right where they need to be....Rocking my fuckin world.

  • Just got this album and can't stop listening :)

  • They danced and sang to the sound of amazing grace

  • Fair to AWESOME.

  • No one in this god forsaken town has even HEARD of this. I am alone. This is just too sad, imagine what can be done with Fair to Midland in every home...

  • @MinusRhythm where?

  • @berserker96 A musically barren town in Georgia >.>

  • @MinusRhythm sucks.... Im here in phx AZ and the music scene is very underground and fragmented as hell....

  • @berserker96 *Sigh*

Well the music here? It's nothing but suckish, really awful and uncannily similar crap :P

I don't think anyone has ever even heard anything other than Katy Perry or some obscure rapper...

(And, you know, I don't mean all that much disrespect to the artists :T

I mean, I actually like one or two Perry songs but...I just can't compare any of them

to this godly chunk of music-ambrosia that is FtM)

  • @MinusRhythm Its all about starting an underground scene now I guess. most ppl just assume radio rock is crap cuz it mostly is

  • In-freaking-credible song. I heard this for the first time at a live showing, was blown away, and since then I was so stoked to hear the studio version of it. Not even a little disappointed.

  • Good song, it sets them apart from other bands. Nothing is never plain, period.

    T . T

    plz thumbs up...

  • Awesome!!!!!!!

  • Wow, my first listen to this band and I am hooked!! Excellent, different! I like very much, thank you Jungleboy for the intro!!

  • Darroh is returned....

  • Wow, the singers high vocals almost sound kind of like Geddy Lee. Not entirely, but kind of close.

    Great song too.

  • What I love most about FTM is that (In my opinion) You listen to a song once and like it, but after you have heard the song through a couple of time, things you missed before hit you and blow you away. The lyrics mean what you want, the music is amazing and really gets me going and as many before have said, Darroh has a voice and vocal range that makes all other singer shy away with envious rage...All in all, I love this band....

  • @DeathSlain maybe, they just need to get on a major radio station and that would get alot more people into them

  • 2 people aren't dancing to the song of the amazing grace!

  • This is why I fucking LOVE Fair to Midland

They're style is so unique, the music is...brilliant, the lyrics are beautiful and don't get me started on Darroh's voice.

Fair to Midland is my number one favorite band of all time. I fucking LOVE THEM!!!!!

  • @Bugsy99 Dude im totally with you on all points. I hope to Jesus youve seen this band live cuz aside from Darrohs amazing voice he is one of the single greatest live performers ive ever witnessed

  • @thefallingdream I've seen them live three times, and I completely agree with you. Each performance always brings something new.

One Thing Darroh always does (at least at the venue I've seen them play) is hang upside down from the ceiling, mic cord wrapped around his body, singing Dance of the Manatee.

Watching FtM perform is always amazing because you can tell that they not only love the music, but they love the fans.

  • @Bugsy99 yup, ive seen him do that a couple times too. I just saw them @ AceOfSpades here in Cali and Darroh was very ill and hacking up a lung between songs yet he did not miss ONE SINGLE note as well as put on an amazing energetic performance. Truly amazing rock singer and great band. I would like to suggest a band to you called Dog Fashion Disco. I believe you will dig them based on your love for bands like FTM. Start with a song called Sweet Insanity, then Adultery and work your way....

  • @thefallingdream Dude...I LOVE Dog Fashion Disco. And i agree, Todd Smith is another great vocalist. It shows a lot in Dog Fashion Disco and Polkadot Cadaver. I still need to check El Creepo and Knives Out, though.

But yeah, DFD is amazing. I have their CD, Adultery on my computer. The first time I listened to Private Eye...and the interesting dialogue that takes place...I'll admit I was a little...freaked out lol

  • @Bugsy99 HA! I knew it! El Creepo is great chill out music and Knives Out is nothingface crossed with DFD which is just fucking amazing. But yeah, private eye is pretty funny. I laughed my ass off when i first heard that song. I did however fall asleep to Dead Virgins Dont Sing once and that kinda gave me off the wall dreams. Not recommended

  • @Bugsy99 through the rest of their catalogue. You will thank me later, aside from Darroh i believe DFDs singer Todd Smith is one of the best rock singers ive ever heard or witnessed. I suggested those 2 songs to you because although theyre unique they are still somewhat commercially acceptable but the further you listen to Dog fashion Disco the more weird it gets and the more amazed you will become. Truly unique, just like FTM. Let me know what u think. Have a good day ;-)

  • Gawd, do I love this man's voice.

  • Great band. This song reminds me of The Mars Volta.

  • great song. fair to midland needs way more recognition for the amazing work. they could blow people like beiber or katy perry off the map.

  • I cannot get this song out of my head, no matter how hard I try. The chorus, of course, really sells it. But I love the drama in the whole thing. Darroh is the motherf***ing man and this song proves it almost all by itself. I stand in awe.

  • This is the only song that is sticking...

  • The whole album is amazing

  • Im kinda "eh" about this album. I know they're gonna be better live, but Uh-oh was the best song off of the album.

  • @matulaak988 you're insane

  • @opiiatee Yeah.

  • @opiiatee Also the album's grown on me in the past five days.

  • @matulaak988 you're sane again.

  • @opiiatee Yeah, this album is pretty damn good.

  • @opiiatee But Im still Insane.

  • @opiiatee Disregard the moron bro..this band is amazing..and assuming by your name..Tool's new album is HOPEFULLY on the way as well lol Long live BADASS music!!

  • @Tool78Maynard fuck to the yes. I just saw A Perfect Circle in July and that was amazing. When the new Tool album comes out I'm going to cry man, I'm so excited.

  • @opiiatee Hell yeah man..its been far too long since 10,000 days..5 years..but Tool never dissappoints so we will be extremely satisfied im sure.. Also if you are into metal..screaming, etc. Meshuggah has a new album coming out this year as well. Another of my favorite bands.

  • @matulaak988 I like more of the old FTM but this is a good album

  • @Jake45499 My favorite is Inter.Funda.Stifle

  • The chorus is one of the best things they have done. Wonderful.
