Sorry, but this scene gave me chills. Borderline flirting they always seem to carry in their conversations "Shame on you" *insert charismatic, sexy grins from both* --be it doctor nine or ten, doesn't matter--the mention of Rose who they both had a bond with and a fondness for--down to such an interesting bit of 'I am a being who represents time itself, you a fixed point. Naturally I'll run' The opposites card is always intriguing in any form of relationship ^ ^ Jack/Rose/Doctor OT3 for life.

One of my fave scenes. There is so much going on with all the characters involved.

I wonder if Jack feels bitter or angry towards Rose at all. By never being able to die he has gone through so much grief and darkness. I would have loved Jack and Rose to have had a conversation about how she brought him back to life in Journeys End. Maybe they will in the special and the end of the year.

@ADyingFaith I don't think Jack would blame Rose. She couldn't control the power, and she was trying to save him because she cared about him. I think Jack Harkness out of all people would understand. And judging from Jack's actions and the way he kinda shielded Rose in Journey's End, I'd say Jack still loves her very much and has long accepted his fate.

@BetaArtemis We were deprived a scene between the two of them though. Jack explaining to her that it is because what she did that he cant die. Of course when the time vortex was in her head she would bring Jack back to life and Jack would know that it was out of love. The human dr will have told her by now though anyway.

This is such a great scene. It could be so cheesy, but DT & JB play it so well. DT's body language is so good. I love it when he leans his head against the glass and says "Jack ..." Fabulous! And so sexy!
