Jolt was one of my favorite transformers, I bought him a few months before the movie and me and friends couldn't wait to see him in action. After the movie we were sad but we thought he'll be in the 3rd movie a lot, but no. RIP jolt.

In TNT, Jolt's lack of characterization made me able to create a completely original background, personality and such for him. In my series, his original name was Primitheon, one of the Seven Primes who was banished for tampering with the evolution of humanity (teaching us how to create fire) and this inspiring the legend of Prometheus. I made him wear all chains and stuff, it's pretty awesome. I even replaced his insignia with Reprolabels' Cybertronian Race insignia as an added bonus.

I saw him at a Toys R' Us maybe a month ago, only had 1, but I needed a Voyager decepticon so I got Long Haul, because he is taller, and bulkier than Grindor. got LH for $28, He's packaged in Robot, so if you are looking in the Stores, and he's there, you'd be able to spot him easily.

Because of the shipping cost to Hawaii it costs more, the cheapest figures are at Walmart, Scouts for $6-$7 Deluxe for $10-$11, Voyagers for $25, Human Alliance for $20-$26, and $40 for Leaders, Legends are usually $3, and I've seen empty shelves that were labeled to notify that a Combine Devy was there, I can't remember the exact price, but it was like $100-$115, same as Ultimate Bumblebees.

Strictly speaking Jolt is there during the earlier scene with the military rounding up the Autobots outside the hanger. It's also where you see Ratchet for the first time in movie 2. Jolt just doesn't DO anything until the magical resurrection scene.

i don't think you gave jolt all the props he deserves. this transformer was so different than other ones in the ROTF line. the car mode is very smoot and acurate, and the robot mode is very well made and sleek, if you transformer it the way i do. i'll make a video to show how i do it along with my review

And for all you saying that Jolt spoke in the movie, he didn't say anything at all. I've seen the movie three times. You can only see him with the other Autobots when they're mourning the death of Prime/conflicting with Galloway, he's also a background character in Egypt, and he does something major by connecting Jetfire's dead body to Optimus. But again, he doesn't speak a word.

Jolt NEEDS to have a larger role in the third movie! He has the coolest design of the Autobots if you ask me and I'll definitely be picking this figure up as soon as I see him in stores. Two more things that make him awesome is the fact he's blue, my favorite color, and the Chevy Volt is the coolest car I've seen in quite awhile so that's a big plus right there.

FYI - the loose waist joint is a problem of only certain lots and not all Jolt figures. (Unlike, say, ROTF Deluxe Bumblebee which all have loose waist joints, as far as I know.)
