While you watch this remember the facts are that Vincent Cefalu did not "whistle blow" anything. He badly wants to be remembered as such but what he claims to have whistle blown he was not a part of or even aware of. Fact is he violated government policy to such an extent that he was investigated for removal and perhaps (not sure) has been removed from ATF. The investigation into his misdeeds began waaaay before he ever did any ghost "whistle blowing."

Agreed - its admirable to complain about taxpayer waste when they've retaliated by giving him a useless desk job.

However, don't lose sight of the fact that the reason he doesn't quit is because if he does, my understanding is that he loses his pension. This is where it gets ugly. When an organization has decided an employees days are over, there is not an effective way to push for early retirement or early out and this is what needs to be resolved to prevent this kind of fraud and waste.
