I don't think they sound like HIM. Also the lyrics are completely different... They have nothing to do with graves and death and whatever. I like HIM and I like Negative too for different reasons. In reference to the voice issue that seems to be apparent here... They both smoke, so this SLIGHT similarity is to be expected to an extent. But Ville's voice is obviously deeper and has more of rich quality that fits with a more gothic tone. Jonne's voice is higher, rough, and more of the rock 'n' roll type (I've thought of it slightly similar to Bon Jovi's style/voice). Other than voices, I don't see how they could be compared. Even with the instruments, HIM using the keyboard in a unique way.
