i agree with evh......i've seen sammy at least 20 times with and without mike...and every show has been great! i love eddie and alex....but without mike and sammy they aint VH!!! dave doesnt sound like he used to and that little chubster cant hold mikes bass!! maybe we can see all 5 of them 1 day!!!!
This is the ONLY time Sambo's Van Halen cover band sounds decent when they have Mikey in the lineup! At least he dosn't butcher the vocal harmonies like Sambo's chick on bass. I saw The Cabo Wabo cover band live a few years back and good god she was AWFUL on the harmonies!!

Seen Eddie live 4 times...twice...right in front of him....and 2 other times 20 rows back....so I know how good Eddie is.
However the first 2 times were in 2004 when he was kind of fucked up.
Plus I'm not talking about when Sammy did covers in 2006 with Mikey.
In 2007 Mikey did his own band with Vic and JD on drums and they did Mad Anthony Express...and they really concentrated on hitting every note of the CVH songs they played.

Did you happen to catch the 07/08 tour with Roth? Ed was in top form when I caught him in LA & Denver!! The 07/08 Tour BLEW AWAY the 04 Turd Tour with Sambo by a mile! I actually like some Van Hagar songs but the 04 Tour was REALLY PATHETIC!

Let me tell you something...I saw Sammy, Mike and the Wabos in Detroit last year.
Vic NAILED and I mean NAILED...every VH song they played...to the point where if you closed your eyes...you would think it was VH on stage.
The only thing about this video I don't like is David. He doesn't fit the sound. but I thinks it's his drum sound.
