To me it seems that the players dont want anything too new, it seems the players would like to stick to old roots like Ocarina of Time, i liked Wind Waker but it was enough i did not like Phantom Hourglass, these are just my opinions though

A TP sequel would be awesome. They should start making the games a bit harder though. I hope that artwork is fake, because, in my opinion, it's pretty ugly. I really hate the fact that so many people didn't like Zelda: Wind Waker just because it was cel-shaded. The gameplay was excellent and story was great. The artwork was absolutely beautiful, and should have made another comeback. It's just that so many people think that realistic graphics are needed. Really they are just wanted to be able to sell well. People have the innate nature to buy the most "coolest" looking game even if it has bad controls.

um...cell shading is that animation-like graphics, not chibi, most of the anime games use this engine and you can see this in most of Naruto, One Piece and Bleach games, also Dragon Ball

Alright I going to write this comment one more time. There needs to be a huge change in loz. We need like cool musket with a detachable bayonet (more main weapons please sword and shield can get a bit tiring), online coop, and big old vashoned vehicals, that 4 people can use at once. We need a little more steathier aspect to the game too, and more human like enemies to go along with that. More nightime attacks that keep you one your guard.

I think the problem with nintendo is that they're trying to please all their fans, but that's not possible, they've got learn that they can't please everybody. Nintendo, I think with this new zelda you need to focus on yoy hardcore/adult fans.
I like the cel-shded for its artistic value. However on handhelds, the graphic capabilities are not great enough to make it appear as polished as Windwaker

holy crap miyamoto actually promised to show zelda. It's strange since everyone said 2009 would be Wii's year, yet it's looking like 2010, due to the fact that SMG 2, Metroid: Other M, NSMB for Wii, Grinder, Gladiator A.d., and possibly Zelda Wii will be released that year. Go Nintendo!

I like the cel-shded for its artistic value. However on handhelds, the graphic capabilities are not great enough to make it appear as polished as Windwaker

i cant tell who that is, but one thing i am certian about is look at his/her arua around her/him. they have a blure aura so there probly not evil, and look at the cloak if somhow that is link then it seems theat he may get some real maigc.

Im glad Link is an actually adult in this game. It makes you really think how a young teenager could kill ganondorf. You should have also mentioned Zelda Wii graphics will be better then ever.. meaning tp came from the gamecube.

as of new super mario bros wii, nobody knows exatly why they didnt add online. Im going to get it, but they could have done MUCH more, like the graphics, it looks like a gamecube game. Anyway i wouldnt say no to a 2d mario! :D , And there is super mario galaxy 2 too!! hah

I love the darkness in TP and I do hope they go the route of a sequel to TP. I am ESPECIALLY happy no cell-shaded Link. He's just more realistic and hotter lol. I think it's Midna though-I mean her robe looked like that-I do hope it is her.

2:03 . Sorry dude, but you are wrong here. Take a look at Sakurai and Brawl. Sure he put in sonic and snake, but they infuriated all of the core fans while trying to reach out to the casual gamer. If nintendo was influenced by the media, they would have effectively used the Everybody Votes channel for market research

You are too contradictory. What, you think Sonic and Snake wouldn't be in the game if Nintendo didn't know fans wanted them? You can't just randomly exclude that fact. If Nintendo wasn't influenciated by media all their games would be terrible, because they wouldn't attend popular demand (which never happened), since the only way the public word can get to the likes of Miyamoto is via media.

You swing the wii remote, the sword swings the same direction that you swing the remote, unlike TP, where swinging the wii remote imitated pressing a button.

Well the painting does look cool, but as some people do I can't but remain a bit skeptical and think that it COULD be some random fanart.
But well, that's where all the concept art starts out, with brieft sketches and drawings.
And who knows, I bet all of us would have considered the thought that the first concept art for WW was fanart back when we were seeing it (if it was released before the trailers).
True or false, I just know Nintendo is up for a good one this time!

it can't be a fanart, this image doesn't exist before the E3 thing (I mean it weren't being draw before E3) and it be done in less than 1 hour (I think), you need to be a real artist to make that quick.

Also I just wanted to note that it is very unfair to claim Zelda:TP was for the wii as it was originally for gamecube set to release in December of 2004 (wasn't released until 3 years later at wii launch)which ..like now, they are probably gonna end up porting it to their next console....if thats the case then I'm done with zelda and nintendo two franchises just aren't enough for a console.....as I said microsoft is tromping everyone right now

Actually I still have my game informer from 2004 of Twilight Princess images and the release date says...." Winter 2004" which I could even say couldve been pushed til spring 2005 I would understand but I guess I wouldve been more accurate to say miyamot is just as bad as peter molyneux with fable....postpone postpone postpone.....

I get your point now. It was postponed officially only 1 year but the hype covered about a 3 year period. In 2003 it was unofficially called WW2....man, that was a long time ago! It was as if Nintendo was torturing us.

Well all I can say is Nintendo has severely dissapointed me and in my opinion they are headed in a sony direction with lack of good exclusive games, Mario Galaxy 2 was announced which I'm sure won't come out for at least 1 1/2 years and no announcement of zelda.....*sigh*, they better get their shit together and make the official announcement already because the nintendo sales are plumetting and microsoft is starting to kick the shit out of everyone....

Link does seem a little more serious than ever in the picture. The woman does look like zelda, with the hair and the pointed ears. And the backround looks more sinister, like evil is ready to take it's toll on the world. Maybe this time Ganondorf (if he is in the next one) will come closer than ever to obtain ultimate power.

holy crap miyamoto actually promised to show zelda. It's strange since everyone said 2009 would be Wii's year, yet it's looking like 2010, due to the fact that SMG 2, Metroid: Other M, NSMB for Wii, Grinder, Gladiator A.d., and possibly Zelda Wii will be released that year. Go Nintendo!

I bet the next game will have Ganon or Zant somehow come back from Twilight or death, respectively, 10 years later, and retake the castle. I'm sure the plot will be way more involved for that, but we'll see!
Although, if it's a sequel, it's got to take place somewhere other than Hyrule, right? You can't have all the same locations for levels. I say a new element, such as Twilight for TP, will occur.

i do not think it is link zelda had a very very similar hairstyle and that could be zelda and sheik behind her. also who knows if adult link will be in (i will miss my favourite teenage link). last but not least i will not but the game if motion plus is needed unless it comes with it. also reggie was trying to hypnotize us with his hands about wii motion plus. don't fall for it.
