lol well... V8's will always be able to make more power than a 4 cyl. Its just the facts, they can breath more air if they are well designed. And putting a V8 into a smaller car, makes that car faster than a $ cyl would. Why do you think Lemans race teams use V 8's? V8's can make more power. IT comes down to more than power/weight ratios, Volumetric efficiency plays a huge role in everything. It really comes down to the application.

how are they slow? what are you comparing them to? honda's are always the fastest in their class. match any honda to a car with the same specs, and the honda will always be faster and more powerful. eg; an nsx-r has a 3.2L v6 and will do the 1/4 mile in 12.7 secs. find another 3.2L v6 naturally aspirated that will do the same time? now do the same for the s2000, integra, civic etc..
