When I found out Whitney Houston died I cried uncontrollably & each time I think of her I cry (she was so beautiful & had such a beautiful natural voice). Even while typing this. Is that a sign of something wrong? I've also felt like my neck and hands are trembly, but looking at them you can't tell, I just feel it. And when I type my hands "drop" about once a minute - I'm a legal secretary & I only work 3 days a week now. I finally called the Dr. today and am waiting to hear back.
@momicajack : oh, and I do have MS, so its not that I'm worried I might have it. I just don't know if I should be concerned. Just like you, I can tell I tremble when I try to put on my mascara. Also, holding a glass or coffee mug to drink, I have to use two hands because of it. I know you're not a doctor, I guess I just needed to tell someone who might understand. =)
@momicajack I feel the same way about Whitney Houston...how awful :( From what you said, it could be PBA (Pseuobulbar Affect) but I'm not a doctor so I'm not 100% sure. I have gone through exactly what you are explaining though. I wish you well, I'm hoping for the best!!
@CANSANDY2 Oh my gosh, don't worry! Yes, fortunately my stress level has dropped some. Oh my gosh Sandy, we're on the exact same medications!! How are you feeling??
@laurenvparrott Well I'm feeling fine (Tysabri 30 mths, Klonopin[Clonazepam in Canada] 4 years, Provigil[Alertec in Canada] 10 years). I didn't know anyone else on the same "cocktail" LOL.
My doc wanted me to try getting off the Alertec but I was a zombie so I went back on at a lower dose!
Your MS symptoms are triggered by thoughts. It's how you got the disease in the first place. I went through a really rough patch in my life which stressed me out. Thats when my MS symptoms and diagnosis was starting. Basically, stress causes nervous system abnormalties. Then you go and get diagnosed, put on drugs (which actually create all the horrible symptoms you'll carry forever). it's a big lie. You have to beat the stress naturally to be MS symptom free for life.
@ChucknMcNuggets But first you have to believe that everything you've been told was a lie, and that only your brain chemistry can change the severity of your MS. It did mine. I don't accept MS and the idea that only drugs can stop it, when my symptoms were way worse on the meds. It's only when I quit taking the meds, stopped trusting my doctors, stopped drinking Flourinated tap water, and started eating more organic foods, that my "disease" cleared up never to return in five years.
So there's a reason that I get choked up at spirit assemblies at school? I'm sure other teachers are beginning to wonder what's up with me because I get choked up whenever I announce the student of the month from my class. :)
@MsHopeforhealing Yes, there is a reason! I get choked up at Hallmark commercials all the time! I think it's so sweet that you get choked up about the student of the month!! That's endearing!!
The only bad thing on my blood test was that I have slightly lower protein levels than normal. It's not too bad. Parents are trying to try and get me an appointment. I will try and get it this week or next week. Anyways, how have you been these days? Always so happy when you make new videos. My favorite time of year is winter. :) My mom and dad are sort of afraid to get me an appointment because they think I might get taken control of by the doctors or get taken away from them. Have a nice day.
@TheKyleecow No, that's not too bad! Were you able to get an appointment? I've been doing very well! Aww, I'm sure everything will work out! I hope you have a great winter!
Thanks for your openness. My first two symptoms of MS were anxiety and depression. Were the worse symptoms of MS when all you want to do is cry, back in the late 1980's. Jon K Sayers your facebook friend
