The maker if this video obviously likes Slash better judging by the way he edited this video. My opinion is Slash is more of a composer and Morello is more of an experimentalist. Slash sounds very messy live and Morello sounds pretty clean. I guess I'd have to choose Slash, 'cuz he has more traditional compositions

Slash is definitely the more melodic and soulful of the two, you can actually sing his solos they're so memorable. Makes playing look so easy too. The other guy's got loads of technigue but lacks that indefinable something extra that makes Slash's playing so unique. I've always preferred the sound of a guitar straight into an amp though, no effetcts, just the sound of the guitar, amp and the fingers.
