Simasv, while it is cheaper to build your own PC, you have to consider time, expertise, and the support you'll be getting. Have you ever built a computer by yourself? It's pretty damn time consuming, and from a consumer and pro level, there's only a small percentage of people that have the know-how to do so. So really, it'd be better to go with the Mac or Dell rather than a homebrew, unless you really know your stuff.

It's somewhat faster than a dual core CPU,but it definitely isn't x4 faster.

Intel has yet to create the new generation of real quad core CPU-s.
