The Joker I know uses lots of ballons, prank toys and funny looking bombs. Not goddamn shotguns and grenades! I know it's a serious Joker portrayal, but this movie gone too far. Even in the Dark Knight Returns novel (which is way more serious and darker than this movie) he used some funny stuff. After all, he is the "Clown Prince of Crime" but in this movie, he looks anything but a clown! I admit, his nurse uniform was pretty funny. But other than that, he's so damn serious!

The reason I love this movie so much is because you can never be certain of who the villain is. You have Batman who let people die before taking off his mask. Harvey loses his mind and kills people after Rachel dies. The Joker is supposed to be the "bad guy," but the main reason he's so menacing is because he exposes just how ugly and corrupt the people of Gothem themselves are. It's hard to differentiate between good & evil in this movie because they can easily be mistaken for each other
