  • Nice.

  • @gerrythrash

    Thank you.

  • This is not smooth jazz. This is a masterpiece crossing boundaries.

  • @Sal1675

Hey, I couldn't agree with you more. A masterpiece that has not or has very little airplay, because people know Lyle, but Street Dreams 4 a lot of people never heard of it. I just found out about this track within 4 - 6 years ago. Peace and thx for the comment.

  • @hsmarlon - Lyle mays is so under-rated and I dont know why he has never got the accolades he so rightly deserves. His first album is an undisputed tour de force - the players on their simply excel themselves.

  • @Sal1675

I must agree again and as a whole smooth jazz is under-rated, but I love it. Good observation.

  • In the mid 90's in Germany, I put this on one of my jazz mixtapes & the brothers were hounding me, like, "who dis"? Lyle Mays is the man...

  • @dholmes974

Yes he is the man. You have good taste.

  • I brought this album in I believe 1988. I NEVER knew this man would have such an influence to my music, and my life. Mays & Methney are great at their craft.

Thx for the comment. I know where you are coming from. Pat & Lyle always put my thoughts in another dimension. Another one I love is San Lorenzo by Pat. Breathtaking!!! Peace

  • LOL...I looked at others on your page and it was llike looking at my cassette collection from the late 80's... Lyle mays/Pat Metheny, Bob James, Klugh, Clarke, Ripingtons, ....

The Leni Stern upload is incredible and sounds unbelievable on my P.C. 5.1 surround sound.

Consider me subbed, and thanks again!

  • @41elliott

Thx for the comment. I first started listening to Smooth Jazz in early '80's (81 - '83) with Mr. Klugh. My cousin played guitar and he use to come over to my house and practice chords. And his biggest artist was Klugh and Benson, in which, I then started getting hook, so that's why you see my music selection. 2 thumbs up, you're an old schooler like me and I love it. If there some smooth jazz from the 80's that's not list on my channel share it with me. Peace and Love to you. Marlon

  • Never heard this before...I like it

  • @James7899

As always thx for the comment. Lyle laid this one out. Love it too. Peace

  • Beautiful piece of music!

  • @knmlover

I do agree with you. I love this jam. It always put me in another dimension. Thx for the post. Marlon

  • I have this album on cassette when it first came out!!

    Classic Lyle Mays!!

  • @PrimeBot

Thx for commenting. Yes, Lyle and Pat is 2 awesome musicians. 1988 was a good yr for smooth jazz. While on your channel I heard you playing Pat in the back ground and it sounds great. Thanks again, Marlon
