  • Wonderful world

  • So sweet, sung from the heart.

  • Karunesh is a German man. Born and raised in German. He is white, neither Arab nor Turkish. I have no idea what language he sings, but when a native Turkish person says he does not understand the lyrics, I suppose this is not turkish.

  • @MrsQuietMusic: Don't suppose or speculate! As I wrote the vocals ARE Turkish. I also do not understand every word but the most of them. The woman is singing about Beloved, birds and "gönül" (heart, desire) which is definitely Turkish. The man is singing about his "beloved" Istanbul and that he has a lot of time tonight ;-) ** TIAD **

  • I enjoyed it! thankyou!

  • Rammstein - Zerstören... I thought the vocal is somewhat familiar. It's NOT the same, but try it.

  • looks like "karunesh" is a big fan of "junaid jamshed" starting beat resembles Junaid Jamshed's song "us raah per" and the wordings are taken from Junaid Jamshed's song " Mera dil nahin Available"

  • Superb!!!

  • nouvelle découverte! incroyable....

  • Why Turkish vocals for Arabian Nights???

    Arabian Niights demand Arabian vocals.

  • it actually sounds really good if you understand their culture

  • its just music..appreciate it from all sources for as long as you're ears can listen to any..kind..

  • Karunesh The Indian Enigma....

  • Very nice:-)

  • this song its from Natacha Atlas ..........

  • What a powerfully contemplative piece of Music with wistfully sad subtones to it, like from 2:33, what with those Violins that can stir the soul..! & yet with an amazingly soothing to the soul feel to it that's hard to resist despite the bitter-sweet ache it creates within !

Yet another incredible video from the genius of Tiad. :)

A profound piece of a Music composition of Karunesh, indeed.

Intriguing mystery of emotions can unfurl within, on listening to this, well, intriguing sweet Music !

  • That singing gives me a big headache!! instead of relaxing me it gets into my nerves as much that I could make a valium feel nervous! It could have been better if it was an instrumental song, because the music is already very beautiful.

  • @khaenos: Interesting comment. Maybe the vocals can confuse some people. But some others could get into relaxing dreams or delirium without valium if they understand the beautiful Turkish vocals. ;-) - Regards. - *** TIAD **

  • @tiad Hi there. I actually understand turkish a little bit but the singing style is so agressive and not soothing at all, at least not for me. The music is awesome, and I (my very personal perspective) think that there was no need to have any lyrics. Love it, but what I can't understand is why oriental music has a sad feeling to it...BTW the valium think is just a joke.

  • @khaenos: It is difficult, maybe impossible to describe how GOOD the vocal coloration(!) and speed are, if you don't FEEL it. Both of female and male singer. The woman is singing in "uzun hava" style just in a gorgeous way. And the man is singing in "Türk sanat müzigi" style which is celebrated here in a very beautiful way also. So, I think Karunesh created here a "stroke of GENIUS" (imho). ;-) - Love & Peace. - ** TIAD **

  • @tiad I dearly so loved the music and my soul enjoyed it very well. I got to tell you some people cannot comprend of other cultural music becoz their hearts cannot understand for all but only for themselves. This person khaenos must learn alot more to hear what sings from the soul. Thanks for share.

  • @khaenos Really? I love hearing strong, powerful singing like this. GIves me goosebumps.

  • @khaenos i agreed with u.. i'm an arab syrian, i'm familiar with turkish music as well, but this is not relaxing at all.. u can call it spiritual somehow.. anyway music is about different perspectives..

  • @hugodanielsf01: The track is from KARUNESH. ;-) I have'nt any information about the Turkish vocalists. Sorry.

  • @tiad : Turkish vocalist is Devrim Kaya

  • Comment removed

  • The female voice is from Badema, the lyrics are from a song called URGA, this was part of a brazilian soap opera, The Clone, from 2001 if I am not mistaken, regarding the male vocalist I don't have the info...hope this helps....

Saludos.

    Mahasiah...

  • Wow... Karunesh is my favorite band... But the vocals in Turkish.. Which I don't understand is fantastic....as turkey itself

What a blend of Europe n Asia...

  • Какая шикарная музыка!Спасибо!!!

  • OMG....amazing!

  • This Turkish music

  • wow

    iam suprised hearing turkish...

  • Замечательно!

  • Que melodia tan "magica", es muy hermosa.

  • Close my eyes listening to this actually brings me to a middle eastern country sipping some strong coffee at a coffee house sitting on the street watching all the awesome culture around me...

  • Thank you Tiad! Wonderful music! Thank you!

  • Beautiful pictures along with beautiful music!! What more!!! Completely enveloping!!

  • There is no "kurdish style". This style comes from east of Turkey.. it calls east style..

and it contains little bit classical turkish music style and indian also ;) please search the musical culture of Turkey carefully ;)

  • @basshasan I don't need to study the culture my friend ;) I've listened to kurdish and turkish all my life (I have more turkish music in my ipod ). let's be more open and friendly and more understanding :) there'a no indian influence in the song it's all kurdish and turkish. long live the brotherhood.

  • @ninooo666 Of course you don't need.. but i saw a little mistake about music style.

All the musics which playing in turkey comes from arabian style and classical turkish style. classical turkish style comes from ottoman music culture.. and one more thing; there is a little bit indian..

for example.. east turkey style starts in 1:11

    and ottoman style starts 1:52

    and indian melodies starts 2:35

i'm musician but i'm not a expert of music.. if you dont believe me you can talk with some experts..

  • @basshasan

east turkey = Kurdish culture and music you can't deny my friend

  • @ninooo666 read the Turkish History..

  • Great music. The lady starts in Kurdish but switches to Turkish but still in Kurdish style.

    Absolutlly love it !!!

  • It's Arabian nights, but singers sing in Turkish. --lol--

  • @mishacol: Why not...e.g. there was a German group "Dschinghis Khan" who was not singing in Mongolian. ;-)

  • @mishacol Arabs were staying at a motel in Turkey that night.

  • @mishacol turkey is closely associated with the middle east, what with it being the center of the ottoman empire and such at one point

  • amazing song! I get the chills when the famale vocalists sings!

  • Beautiful pictures to wonderful music. Thank you.

    Tara

  • Stunning video! Excellent! Nice music, all 5*

  • who is the male singer? I heard him from a song of Shpongle too.

  • actually, I think "around the world in a tea daze" uses a sample from this song

  • The music of Karunesh is an unmitigated delight - a marvellous blend of New Age / Lounge and all kinds of intriguing oriental influences.

  • Excellent . Thanks .

  • Karunesh : the Mozart of New Age music!

  • beautiful pictures and the music can dream

  • one of the most awesome tracks

  • Wondefrul. Very spirutal. Music and melodies carry sents of the middle east and the med sea. A great piece of art. Full of emotion, thought and feelings assosiated with natural beauties of our lands.
