and in greek, that passage in 1st corinthians (as well as one in 1 timothy), use the word "arsenokoitai". which literally translates to "man beds". your translation butchers that as "homosexuals", but if he really meant that, he wouldve used "paiderasste"

romans 1 says its "unnatural", which is factually incorrect as homosexuality occurs in many species. it was one of the reasons lawrence v texas was upheld. and many theologians interpret it as "uncustomary". and paul's authorship is questionable for romans. However, I do not agree that gay marriage is in direct correlation of that, simply because gay marriage isn't legal in enough states (its only legal in 6) to have the kind of impact you are saying it does. Jesus gave his life for the sins of the world. muhammad took lives from the world, and many of them at that. Christ was raised from the dead, while muhammad is still dead. The most damning difference between the two is that the quran maintains that Jesus did not die on the cross, nor did he die at all sura 4:157 - 158. The Bible clearly states that Jesus gave his life for the sins of the world.

This bitch Ellen makes it her job to spread gay marrige and it's wrong. I feel bad for her. It's not about equality it's about spreading your sick views to children who want no part of being gay. Just because you guys are gay doesn't mean you can adopt our normal children and drill your fouls way of doing things into their brains. My brother is trying to adopt thru the foster care system, they were recently offered a brother and sister whose parents.HETEROSEXUAL parents put them in the dryer and turned it on as punishment...you wanna take those kids on??? and yeah, i;m sure a gay couples first plan upon adoption is :teaching: their child how to be gay,Ur so full of uneducated bullshit you make me want to vomit.

It's called monkey see monkey do yes I do believe they will teach their children that being gay is correct when it is not. Can two gays make a baby? NO! If there were the last two gays on the earth could they save the human population...NO. @mvdiablo I was raised by heterosexual parents, saw movies starring heterosexual couples, read books with all heterosexual characters, didn't learn about LGBT anything in school, and knew one gay person until I entered college (and wasn't even particularly friends with that person). Despite all that "monkey see monkey do," I turned out gay... so... yeah.

@47jenken Haha thanks. Lucky for me people like mvdiablo are a dying breed. I seriously doubt he's a 20 year old college student. If he is, he at least hasn't taken a class on sexuality, because there's no debate on whether or not gay parents are more likely to raise gay children. We are currently going through a major cultural shift in opinion about gay rights and gay marriage and I very much appreciate support from allies like you. :)

@houseofswans1 I doubt he is anything he says he is. A college student logging in community service hours and my personal fav..a caregiver at his job? I hope to God your right and he is a dying breed, because such focused hatred scares the shit out of me. I've been asked..what would you do if one of your kids told you they were gay.my response..if thats the worst thing one of my kids tells me, then I will consider my job as a parent well done. @mvdiablo If the last two people on earth are the same gender, it doesn't matter their orientation - gay or straight - they couldn't save the human population. And why are you bringing up wacky hypothetical situations anyway? We live in a world with more than two people and tons of kids who need loving, supportive homes. And you can make claims all you want about gay parents raising gay kids, but the data doesn't show it.

@mvdiablo and btw..so worried about gays getting their sick hands on kids in need of adoption...why don't YOU get off your fat ass and take some kids in need on? Easy to sit and judge and spew hate, but what are YOU doing to make the world a better place? and really, i'm not kidding. I met them..stick a kid in the dryer for five minutes..they get third degree burns, scars, and emotional turmoil that never goes away, but somehow those two did survive.
