@TImarchingband you didn't make me mad, i have an opinion; simple as that. as the hosting high school band you should probably kick it up a notch. if you're going to play something as a group play it right...as a group. don't be nervous.
@TImarchingband what i'm talking about in this specific video is the terrible timing, the fact that it seems no one is playing the same song. to my understanding the band instructor that was responsible for this garbage is long gone, if he/she is not, then they should be. i don't know you nor do i care who you are, my opinion remains the same; however, I'd suggest you learn to accept criticism, if you believe you're the best you're in for a rude awakening.
@genericsoul Mark and Alex are with 413 Wing AFAC Pipes and Drums...I missed out in 09...but had a great time last month...can't wait for next July...
Thanks for showing some of Jesse Lege and Joel Savoy performing "I Went to the Dance." Jesse told me he has never been treated better (by the entertainment people) in any place he has ever played. Both he and Joel are teaching at the Augusta Heritage Center's Cajun and Creole Week in July 2010. Joel's brother Wilson (Pine Leaf Boys) will be there also. Cape Vincent needs more real French music like this.
In the city i live in there is a bye law (local law) that you may kill any Frenchman within the city walls after dark - but only with a longbow.. This year our French Festival coinsides with the Annual longbow tournament ;-)...
wtf? not one polka, Ezra. baglickers, marching bands, zydeco... but no polka!?! I's speechless. ; ) perhaps you just left it out of the upload due to time constraints, eh? C'mon oom-pah-pah. looks like it was a nice do - more beer to slosh and fireworks to behold - see ya, MM
