size of the boring bar is unimportant with Aluminum. Something harder like Brass, Bronze or Steel, I'd use something larger. But you can bore with a little one just take small slow bites.

@laphant I think he was being sarcastic, lol... Of course the smaller you go the more deflection you get, which is bad... so probly sarcasm my guess.
