  • the Somalis who were Somalis know for a fact that forced linkages between them and ethiopians or eriterians are a mere attempt to hide the true history of your people. you are yemenites, emigrants that crossed the strait of Bab-el-Mandeb and then established an artificial nation from eriteria all the way to today's ethiopia. in fact you are south semitic chased away by the north semites. to the contrary Somalis are a Hemitic race, indicative of our pharaonic geneology. therefore we are different

  • @yonas123zzz hahha same here bro

  • I was in Ethiopia when this song came out.. I miss my country. Even though I'm American my blood is Ethiopian forever.

  • oromos, amhara, tigre, tigranya, tigray, and harari all suffer from the disjunction between place & language, place & displacement, therefore their only solution to retaining a non-indegenious land such as ethiopia, an artificial country whose its above mentioned inhabitants were imported from yemen, is clinging to a belief in the adequacy of numbers, in the sense that ethiopians are 80 million while Somalis are only 20 million. oromos are a collection of low cast tribes banished by Somalis

  • @PuntHornofSomalia You are talking about things you don't know. Shut up. No one here expects to learn anything from an ignorant refugee like you. Dedeb !!

  • @ellyzelly bro, its our jealous neighbours trying to split us....little did they know that our unity isnt just a word it is something bigger...

  • @dazebhen1 jealous neighbours? have u read the comments, its the ethio and eritreans themselves that are going at each other... at this day and age still bickering...bah!

  • kotebe sefere!!!! uffffffffffey I miss you mom and dad!!!

  • Read all these comments and this is my opinion. Being born in Addis Abba and coming to America at age of three... Listening this song and the lyrics really struck a cord," they might be living in a white country, but in their hearts they want to see Ethiopia with each heart beat. Does it matter if he is Muslim or he took some sounds from another artist? Idea of having love for one's homeland is more meaningful and touches the audience minds and hearts. That is object of music right?

  • i agree wit u. i like the quote u picked. love this song and 4 eveyone eles he is ETHIOPIAN. i love it when he talks about ethiopian women and what they do and how ethiopian ppl get 2gether no matter where they r.

  • hey guys dont u know that abdu kiar die for yemane baria?

on his album he write all the credits of other songwriters and from them all yemane baria is number one

abdu kiar want to show u guys that an eritrean song can be a very great hit in ethiopia coz we one.

one thing i need to tell u is that his origin doesnt matter coz what we need from him is love.u guyz try to listen his song called ZORO ZORO ADAM.

THE BESTSONG IN ETHIOPIAN MUSIC HISTORY.

  • he didnt die because i saw him yesterday at a ethiopian party!

  • @sebategnaw abdu kiar is eritrean,i don't know if you know aboy kiar's household's but you can't get more eritrean than his family, ofcourse he is raised in ethiopia but his family are a bonfide eritrean family he even has few uncles and relatives who died when they were with jabha ELF.

  • this singer looks mexican is he mix ? lol

  • @spurs2010100 NOOOOOOOO

  • The song is an Eritrean song stolen from Yemane Barya. Go on Youtube and search "Yemane Gebremichel (Barya) song Neaki Zihabe". As to Abdu Kiar's origin, he does not look Amhara or Ethiopian. He could very well be Eritrean. Either way, Yemane Barya must be rolling in his grave to hear him take his classic song and turn into this crap.

RIP to the greatest African singer Yemane Barya, often imitated but never duplicated.

  • exactment

  • @TMack771 Because Yemene Bariya (what a curios name !!) time..Eritrea was part of Ethiopia..so by the way..Do you really ditinguish an eritrean froma an ethiopian ? Apart from the fact is a very big country and when you speak of ethiopian ..it is a little bit a large "concept"..if you mean northern ethiopians...There is nothing differnt then eritreans, form me ..He is as the lot of Harer or dire dawa peol..the same..In Ethiopia there is alot and various type of face features, ny dear..you ..

  • @TMack771 ..have , just few decades of history, same and unique history of the northern part of Ethiopia (espcially the one of you living in the higlhlans ..and not the ones on the costlines)..So, please avoid yr superfical comment ..based on the external features of face aspects..BECAAUSE you know perfectly the story.. Abu Kiar seem like any Welloye or Hararino!

  • i like this guy but the way he dance makes me smile dont no y, maybe his joking lets hope he is.....

  • such a good song..at the same time such a waste of a song......if u r an artist ...u r suppose to create new music not copy it....and im not saying this cause im not ethiopian ...im sayin this cause the beat is not his and he shouda give credit to the original artis(Yemane barya)

  • He's great! i love him

  • abdu kiar born in Islam but am chriten love this song

  • He is good singer but he copy the work of others. this melody is originally from Yemane Barya. even the song lucy is copied from english song

  • i knw ths guy

he use to wrk in a shop in saudi ,jeddah

    he is a good person

  • No matter what some of you idiots may write here from the comfort of your respective whereabouts, nothing would change the fact that this is one unique and well-talented artist with a style from none other than of his own!

  • go on brother

  • man this my nigga,,,

  • great in lots of ways.abdu kiar is talented.

this was his first song in music industry

    w

    o

    w

    anbessa.

    nuff respect.

    sellassie.i.

  • I know Abdu in perason , in merkato,I really like his music, he knows how to sing. we love U Abdu!!!

  • i think is drunk

  • i love this soong , i cant understand but i love it

  • i love merkato, although it is really crowded all the time there but very lively and friendly

  • Merkato 07 all day u digg

  • i dont understand why just because of the war Eritreans had to be kicked out of Ethiopia even though they were born and raised there. it is not fair. many Eritrean's born and raised in Ethiopia have an identity crises after the war. if u r born and raised in Ethiopia ur Ethiopian and if u r born and raised in Eritrea u r Eritrean no matter ur ethnicity.

  • You are biased what about the Ethiopians they kicked out during peace times. my neighbor's Ex was married to lady in Eritrea when Eritrea was part of Ethiopia and the day they got independence they kicked not only him but his wife and kids. Is not fair both sides.

  • well i actually said it is not fair for both sides maybe it didnt come off that way. But i still think the government has no right to exile someone out of their own country when they have been born and raised there.

  • i disagree with u Ethiopia is not their own country they became Eritreans. they declared independence and said we are no longer Ethiopian so im not getting what u mean by their own country. since when does Ethopia practice dual citizenship!! or r u saying they deserve special treatment?

  • Why cant they be citizens of Ethiopia if they were born and raised in Ethiopia and chose to stay there? Why do they have to move to Eritrea just because Eritrea got independence? What does Eritrea's independence have to do with Eritreans born and raised in Ethiopia

  • me000ww ur comment made me angry. it happened when i was innocent child i grew up with them. I remember the Eritrean kids jumping saying wow our parents chose the green sign. we had no clue what it was so we got happy for them jumped with them. we had no idea they were talking about becoming another country saying we were bad for them they hated being us. so u saying they chose to stay is very painful for me bring that bad memory when i was innocent and blind.

  • i dont really understand ur experience with the Eritrean kids ur were talking about. And i dont really believe that Eritreans at that time really had a choice in deciding if they wanted to stay in Ethiopia or go to Eritrea they were mostly forced out with no choice and even imprisoned.

  • no eritreans actually wanted independance dring the time of mengistu everyone knows that mengistu tried to keep them in ethiopia but he lost and they got independance

  • Eritreans were fighting for their sovereignty prior to Derg's regime.Mengestu's downfall has nothing to do with Eritrea's independence.

  • @Astwa2

    10 Q

  • Well, Ethiopian born and raised Eritreans were abandoned from Ethiopia by the shit government of Ethiopia. They would have loved living i a good country but, the leaders of these 2 beautiful countries are shit. What can we do? Nothing.

  • ur right man they can't do anything for us how sad!!

  • I love the fact that you feel at home in Addiss. Hopefully more others are open minded like you and pave the way for the Ethiopia and Eritrea's get together. I hope you agree!

  • this is called A F R I C A !!!

  • I strongly agree with your comment.

  • OMG busu qunju ba u net, so stop cursing him b/c he has a lot of love for his agar bayt and that is not a bad thing. God bless him and all his haters will get nothing. just listen to it and u can feel that love. Open your eyes and Open your heart.!!!!

  • Dudes!!

    Abdu Kiar

was born in Ethiopia and grew up in Ethiopia but like when he was like around 17 he went to Eritrea to visit and he knew of his parents cultures and LOVED it as well!!! He is Habesha either way and Speaks both tigrinya & umharinya!!!!

    -Wanna know how i know

    {he is my uncle}

And if you were to ask him where he is from he would say both Eritrea and Ethiopia

  • REAL ASMARA ,,let me tell you africa is one country don't be jelous mother fucker i am somali and i like africa don't losse where you from ethoipia is great of africa so don't be shyt stupid idiot

  • for those who need to know about abdu kiar's nationality..................abdu kiar is an AMERICAN NOW.....................eritreans please dont be mad coz what he choose is the right way.he love ethiopia coz he grow up in sebategna merkato.he is raising lots of orphans by himself.i think he is the first eritrean guy who witness ethiopian love when the others hide it.now or someday in the future all eritreans will beg to join ethiopia.they are immigratin everyday crossing the border.

  • abdu kiar keep it up.i know lots of eritreans are in pain so they will talk lots of shits.i think esayas is fuckin' them well.eritrea is part of ethiopia and pretty soon they will one with eritreans unity question.yemane baria is great and abdu kiar is the bomb.both of them got something in common love.unity.respect

  • U stupid artist, u fucked up DIPORTED by WEYANE 1998 AND u will got it again mother fucker, KEDA'A

  • if he is stupid then what do you think you are? he dont care about woyane or shabia.he believe in one ethiopia.real hero.asmarino dont be mad he dont like the idea of separation.he always say that unity is the power.he is a hero from his heart and if you want him to be eritrean he will because every eritrean is ethiopian.asmarino try to see this world as one family.

  • i am very surpriced , how could he say Ethiopea HAGERY , I know him very well he is an ERITREAN , he was with me in national service asmara, still his brother is a high school teacher in asmara KEZAKENISHA. in war time eritrea and ethiopia , he was diported by weyane, how could he say Ethiopea HAGERY , stupied , garbage,

  • Well, some people can separate a government and a country. It really is not that difficult to understand if you set your mind to it. Try to logic 101, it would help.

  • I was born in Kazanchis and I love his music. I feel his deep feelings to his roots and I want you all those haters to listen to it without any bias.

  • i love this song he is so cute and he got nice voice!!!!!!!! not that i like him!!!!!!

  • he is not cute but he got a good voice and style!!!!llooool

  • if she thinks he is cute, maybe he is cute in her way.. so you cant say he is not.. people have different of judgment
