For peak performance, I mouseroll on my main abilities (rocks as caster, also useful for melee).

Most of Ensidia's Enhancement shamans can be seen on armory having Imp. FN with glyph, and I'm still working on rotations.

My mouseroll macro is this:

#showtooltip Lava Lash

/use (trinket)

/castsequence reset=6 Lava Lash, Storm Strike

I tried with this alternative: reset=3 Fire Nova, LL, SS.

This makes good use of FN (with only 3sec cool), but I dont see much increase in single%t dps. Any advice?

Well imo you should not mix abilities that can be stopped by silence or by disarm in the same macro.

In your case you'd jsut make a longer sequence like:

/castsequence reset=6 Storm Strike, Fire Nova, Lava Lash, Fire Nova

personally I gave FN a new button sinc eit requires a fire totem to work and on some moving fights it is just mess with your gcd's too much

Glyphed Fire Nova is nice, but in single target I can hardly make use of each CD, but on AoE fights it is really imba ...

If you have the totem relic that gives you 400ap for 15sec after LL (like I do), you'd want to prioritize it more (basically 100% uptime)

I am using FN instead of Lava Lash atm and only use Lava LAsh if there is absolutely no other button to press. Upgraded my totem to the ICC Emblem one to no longer be dependant from LL.

i think it will be much better for elemental pvp because its just another nice spell that does another 2000 on ur enemy to make em die faster... mana doesnt really matter all that much u know :)

im just wonderin can fire nova repace lava lash in ur main rotaion? since it does more dmg and can be used just as often

say SS>ES>FN instead of the old SS>ES>LL

and only use lava lash when all other spells are on CD when speced into imp fire nova ofc

Might consider that when I get the new Totem so I am no longer bound to use Lava Lash. (we get the 400 ap on lava lash atm and the new totem is 436 ap on stormstrike)

well i logged onto my shammy the other night and speced into FN u can go on Eu armory n check out the spec if u like chars names trickie

i havent tryed it in raids yet only 5man heroics and my mana dosent last long without imp SS lol but i got 7kdps on the last boss in VH witch wasent bad

but keeping magma up and using Fn is a mana killer like 1kmana each

my current roation is SS>ES>LL>FN using FN right after LL as qucik as possible if no mw5 :)

Wow, I didn't expect it to be instant cast because of the Bloodscalp Shamans in STV had to cast it. Woot, this move will be pwnage and is going to be added into my arsenal. I'm a level 55 Elemental Shaman :)

Will mana become a big problem wenn not taking, elemental focus?

Rage rdy every 1 min+SS also grants 20% mana. So SS would give 20% every time, (8 sec cd) so lets say 7 ss in 1 min, 7x20%, would give 140% base mana back to user.

Just thinking of moving fights.. heigen came to mind right away. If you went to the ranged spot, say 5 seconds before the big dance, you could leave a fire totem there, and Cast spells at him while you are dancing, as well as having the totem damage him, and casting the nova every time it is up.

Well ... you tag mobs as soon as mobs aggro you on live. So you are on your mount gathering mobs and they get tagged before you even get a chance to put down the totem or additionally cast fire nova.

I have not tested if you can loot mobs that are only killed by magma totem, nova if that was the question.

yeah... i meant with only fire nova. some pulls are just so big that you can't guarantee that all the mobs will get hit by you before they die to fire aoes. if nova tags then i can finally aoe grind without having a few untagged bodies.

Yep, doing 7-8k on live though without fire nova on these on live. As you can see while clicking the the buttons there is like half a second lag at least.

Just need to get a bit more used to the rotation, too :-)

PTR is very laggy, as I said I do around 80 on these target dummies on live right now without Fire Nova.

Las tNight we tried ICC and I was pretty high ont he meters next to rogues and DK's on the Thrash before Marrowgar. But then again we had like 5 second lag.

It is not a totem, it is a spell with cooldown, that goes off like cast from the totem.

Just look at other classes, Enhancement peaks at 12k dps on Anub 25 hc while druids, mages, locks, peak at 30k+ so some adustment is needed.

You need to have a fire totem active and the explosion occurs at the totem, not around you.

As the text on the right (more info) says:

"... Fire Nova will activate a 1.5-second global cooldown when used and has a 10-second spell cooldown. ..."

There is a huge problem with the spell though, The Spell is cast from the current Fire Totem you ar eusing, so it kind of sucks in any moving encounter. I wa shoping I could cast it on a target or myself.

I configured Maelstrom Weapon to play a sound file at 5 stacks, since it makes it so much easier to see and you can spend more attention to the actual encounter.

I cose a Star Wars Sound for it, since no similar sound is ingame and thus easier to notice even.
