Its pretty amazing the things that are in this scene that are in the lead up to the game (spoiler alert), The black car that is unloaded is Pegorino's car in the mission Pegorino's Pride', the man you talk to is in a random encounter mission. The diamonds being put in the cake are the ones that you go through a lot of trouble throughout the game to get, and then you eventually lose them. And the ship, if you choose revenge against Dimitri, you shoot him on there.

It's a long story, that diamond was a stolen property that originally belonged to Ray Bulgarin. Soon, It was stolen by some cooks and moved into Liberty City in that ship by hiding it inside the cake. Then, they sold it to Gay Tony. However, Ray Boccino having learned of the diamonds, sent Johnny Klebitz and the Lost MC to crash the meet and steal them.

The rest, you will know as you are playing through the game.

i know guys... the GTA IV is the most detailed and awesome with iNet Gameplay Possibilities but, Vice City is still the most memorable game for me :) i just love the character, clothing, 80's atmosphere, City. i tell you guys. i know the whole city inside out. and the Liberty City is getting really overused :P and to be honest. The glitches and easter eggs (mostly glitches) was so fun in the game. and the No Recoil helped the game so much atleast on PC. if you play on classic ctrls theres recoil

Do you guys notice that:

1) in the PC intro, there is no moon in the sky at 00:27? This is not so in the console versions, even though the moon got added to the PC in a recent patch.

2) the left side of the water flickers for a second at 00:35? This is due to some garbled settings in the NVIDIA control panel. Best thing is to not create a GTA IV profile and set anything, as it influences nothing in the game except single/multi gpu mode.

Yeah agreed, the FPS is relatively choppy. I can run Dirt 2 and BF:BC2 maxed out in DX11 mode quite smoothly at 40-60 FPS, but GTA 4 is a lot choppier and there are noticably laggy areas. However, it is still extremely playable. The lag is most probably due to horrible optimization.
