The emergence of Nirvana brought out an emergence in good music in general, stuff that they were listening to when they were kids. It was all an equal mix of Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Beatles, Hendrix, Zepplin, Bowie, The Doors, all of that stuff was hot again
