  • Hello! Have you got the backing track for it???? :D

  • @Whautum

Sorry, no. My PC crashed a year ago and I`ve lost all my "Band in a box" files.

    Martin

  • @BoeckmannLudwig Wao thank you for the fast reply, what's band in a box??

  • @Whautum

BIAB is a program for creating backing tracks. I created all my tracks with BIAB. You can find a lot of information on youtube and in the web.

    Thanks

    Martin

  • @Whautum

    Martin

  • @BoeckmannLudwig Hello mister the last thing sorry, i tried that but i couldnt find this kind of rhythm of real instruments... Didi you get some special features?

  • Musical Heroin and I'm addicted!!!!!

  • Nice smooth style. The guitar is awesome and everything but the sound comes from your fingers and the heart.Great playing!! Sounds just like it should. The Chet arm is a nice touch. Thank You for taking the time to share it.Really enjoyed it.

  • Thanks for your kind comment.

    Martin

  • Really kicking rendition, BTW your F-Holes don't really have holes..... how does that affect sound?

  • Thanks for your kind comment. I think the F-holes don`t affect the sound that much.

    Martin

    Martin

  • Just when I think I'm getting somewhere with my Chet style guitar playing I find someone like you who plays his songs Perfectly and I'm knocked back into reality. Oh well some of us have the gift and some of us just don't I guess. I must say I also admire your guitar collection. Chet's spirit lives on.

  • Thanks for your kind comment, buddy.

  • Wonderful and very inspiring playing, sir. Thank you for posting this video.

  • Thank you, buddy.

    Martin

  • Sie sind eine schöne Entdeckung! Ich habe Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Buster B Jones, usw sehr gern. (Entschuldigen Sie bitte, mein dürftige Deutsch. Ich studiere es jetzt.)

  • What do you use to create your background music. I see some use?

I see some people use Band In a Box.

Im picking up a new Gretsch 6120 CGP Chet Atkins Stereo Guitar and

what to get something for making background music to.

Im getting back into playing after been off for years.

    I enjoy watching you play!

  • 6120 CGP - a very good choice! I use Band in a box. Thanks for watching and your kind comment.

    Martin

  • Smooth.....I hear a little J.J. Cale in there too. Yes?

  • Thanks for your kind comment. It`s a Chet Atkins arrangement with some own ideas.

    Martin

  • Ok that TOP Nice Good

  • Thanks for watching and your kind comment.

    Martin

  • Nice playing, good stuff.

  • Thanks for your kind comment.

    Martin

    Martin

  • Your guitar is really cool. Reproduction of Chet´prototype. You can take really good sound from it. I don´t like so much those new shiny Gretches. Mine is 6120 1960. It´s exellent, and short scaled which i love. With killer Ray Buttsis.

  • I think the two Paul Yandell created "new" Gretsches (the 6120 CGP and the 6122-1959 CG) are something special. Thanks for watching and commenting, buddy.

    Martin

  • Nice . Everything very smooth and pro.

  • Thanks for your kind post.

    Martin

  • I enjoy your playing! How do you like the CGP guitar? I am looking into getting one...

  • The CGP is a great guitar! Thanks for your kind comment.

    Martin

  • Great playing and a great guitar sound! I notice you also have the Country Gentleman 1959. I also have this guitar (mine is called Nashville Classic on the plaque) Do you find the GCP has a more twangy, classic Gretsch sound that the Country Gent? Some times I think my COuntry Gent is too refined.

  • Thanks for the kind post. Both guitars are great instruments. Because of the short scale the CGP has a better playability but I think the CG has a better tone.

    Martin

  • Wow, who wrote this song ? I think I have heard the dead do it. Great playing big time

  • It`s a Elvis-tune; Composers are Sam C. Phillips and Herman Parker Jr.. Thanks for watching and your kind comment.

    Martin

  • Vielen Dank, dass du vorbei geschaut hast. Ich freue mich sehr über deinen Kommentar.

    Martin

  • Hoi Martin thats outstanding my friend,is this frim Pat Kirtley ?

Martin there is a new clip of me Serenade in Blue & Moonlight Serenade ,its not Atkins style ,its Big Band in my uppie gr also to Bernd <Kees.

Keep up your amazing playing, my friend.

    Martin

  • Hallo Martin

    Martin

  • Hallo Martin

Also ich find´s schon ziemlich gut,was Du da machst. Aber mit Sicherheit stimmt der alte Spruch : Der Sound kommt aus den Fingern !!

    Grüße

    Bernd

    CHris

  • Hello Chris,

thanks for your kind feedback. I use "Band in a box" 2009 Ultra with "realtracks". It´s a very easy program to make your own backing tracks. Hope it helps.

    Best regards

    Martin

  • Martin, with 'German engineering' it may be a mystery train, but it will run on time, that's for sure!

I was beginning to tire from e-mail exertions (poor baby) and this awesome Vitamin C boost, played loud through headphones is just the jolt I needed! Hugs and round-trip fares, ~Terry
