Same sort of thing happend to me yesterday, we was stuck at a check point but it took us back much quicker than you because you never died every time at the checkpoint you some times pulled back and survived for a little bit... we all finished but never got the achievement? I WAS PI SS ED!!

Same thign happened to us once after it took us over an hour to finally get to the ghosts part. We said to make sure not all of us die one stay behind, which was my friends brother whose enver played halo before. He got stuck on the snow whenn we were all on collapsing platforms and there w a checkpoint, where there was nowhere for him to go... lol....

actually it wasnt a glitch. if you die too many times on the same checkpoint you go back 2 chechpoints. bungie did that so it can get you out of something bad

i did this achievement the first week it was updated but i was playing with 3 people that had never played so it took us 2 hours for 4 days until we beat it. it was awsome cuz there were about 20 people in party and spectating so when we beat it the cheers were loud, BEST WEEK EVER!!!! lots of laughs and despair :)
