I don't hate Daniel's fold against someone like Brunson, who would've played a full house the exact same way. Brunson's not going to do this with the King or the Jack of spades, so it's either a bluff or he's got a monster. It was a good fold, just happened to be at the wrong time.

if you look at the history of high stakes poker, when the board pairs, negreanu has ran into one too many sets at those times, maybe he was thinking about that and made a hero fold. Somtimes pros make the perfect moves, but because they cant actually see the others guy hand, they make mistakes that look super weird from time to time.

daniel and is way overated his not great in cash games at all. he and hellmuth made all of their money in tournaments when at the time there was so many people that did not understand and know the how to play.. that laydown with ace high was at a minimum a crying call.. the big bet just scared daniel into folding

daniel made a good play even though he lost a pot. plays like this probably save you many many more chips than you would actually lose by folding, specially looking at the pot size and the amount of the raise on the river.

@jazzybrandon808 I sort of agree. When you expect him to fold, he calls... now it seems like he could raise, and he folds. But to Daniel's credit, when you think about what good hands a tight nit like Brunson would do this with, you can almost automatically scrap King of spades or anything worse.

So either he slowplayed J-Full, turned 9-Full or he's trying to represent what Daniel has.
