I agree it can't play DVDs, but you can watch movies on it but there is no remote in the end bit, I think you are referring to the landline phone. Anyway I do use my iPhone as a remote for my iTunes sometimes.

well ya, it costs about 30 a month for the data plan. and the minutes or unlimited texting all cost money.But the phone comes with a 2-year contract.but the service that the phone offers is extra.

With o2 in the UK, you get the Internet for free outiside of wifi on their contracts. I think on pay as you go you can get it free for 12 months.

On the contract that comes with the phone you get unlimited internet usage and free text messages (number depends how much you pay a month). But if your contract has free texts then it should be the same as what you get now, if it will work in the iPhone. I don't know about the internet you might be better ringing your provider.

I would say that if the iPod Touch is alot cheaper than the iPhone you would be better off getting them seperatly. But if you can afford the iPhone it would save you carrying two devices.

I'm waiting until the next version comes out next year, or at least an upgrade to the camera. I've been struggling to find a video that shows me from start to finish the geotagging feature on the iPhone -- something I really WANT! Can you please make a video showing yourself taking a picture going to a computer and uploading it to Flickr, I've been told that uploading from the iPhone wipes the GPS data?

Oh and the new iPhone might hopefully have the Kleer chip built in for wireless music..

Hi, are you using a PC of a mac? To upload all my pictures I just sync with my mac and then upload to flickr like normal and it keeps all the info.

I think if you upload direct from the phone to flickr then you do lose the info.

Soon it will be available in the UK on pay as you go, but not sure about pricing.

Yea then you can fit all your videos on there and have plenty of space for when you get more music. I have about 2000 songs, 5500 pictures and loads of apps on mine and still have lots of space. Yea 2.0 comes with the 3G model.

Hi, no the iPhone isn't as good as a sat nav at the moment but maybe with future upgrades and it doesn't give voice directions.

But as far at sat navs go I would not recommend a Garmin, I would say going with TomTom is better if you live in the UK.

Are you sure its a good idea to charge it every day? Rechargeable batteries on other products lives are dramatically reduced when they are charged frequently.

Yea it is fine to charge it frequently, I checked because I know alot of batteries do not like it. But Apple products use Lithium-ion batteries which can be charged whenever convenient. apple. com /batteries/ (remove spaces)

Great video Jon, I like my iPhone but I'm very disapionted with the camera, although there is a 3'rd part app what you have to pay for, you can let you iPhone record video. This should be added already though! I would buy it but Apple may release a record function very soon so it may be a waste of money.

I have the nokia n95... It has similar functionality without a touch screen which is better for me because i hate getting finger marks on my phone screen! And the camera on it is pretty decent too, 5mp with clear images. It has the same troubles with battery life though unfortunately :(

Yea the internet wherever you are is the best part. At the moment the only way to have pay-as-you-go is to get a second hand original iPhone but O2 are making it payg later this year.

If on payg you will have to pay for internet though unless you get a bolt on which I think is £10 a month for unlimited usage. You can only have it on O2 unless you (illegally) unlock it to use on other providers.

Your pretty much dead on, the only things are: iPod is 3rd gen, translator is an organiser, there is actually 3 games but you can only just see the third one so I will let you off and the black thing on the right is the speaker I used to use with my iPod Touch (it was in my review video) but the iPhone has a built in speaker.

The price depends on which contract you get, but for the £35 a month contract it is £99 for the 8GB and £159 for the 16GB. Then you get 600 minutes and 500 texts, and all internet and GPS is included at no extra cost, so you can use it as much as you want.
