snares sound best tight, especially with hip hop type drumming like you are attempting, tune your snare up and dampen it too with moon gel or sommit, the snare should have minimal ring to it. do you listen to nu metal. the way the drummers tune their kits for that in my opinion is spot on, like David from Korn, his snare is sweet as!
its ok but speed isnt everything lol... once you can play a lil better ( in time :p ) lol then worry bout speed... and in the meen time tune your kit dude
Hey man cool druming but you need to tune your drums. I always had a hard time tuning my drum kit so i got a DrumDial at guitar center and now my Pearl session custom sounds great!!
Very talented kid, keep it up. My only suggestion would be to stop concentrating so heavily on all the busy fills. Perfect the simple stuff. It will make a more polished drummer. Kids got talent!
Moon jells are good but any acoustic set is going to ring. Too many dampening products and your drums will sound like wet cardbord boxes...Once you get the ring to sound good you wont have to worry about it.
dude freaking stay in time.
