1. Just because the network has no visible password doesn't mean there is no client system needed to access the files

2. You can't Have a 100% secure wireless network anyways so tough luck.

I'm pretty sure they all use the same network security standards (wep or wpa/2), I'm also pretty sure Apple AirPort Express/Extreme don't support multilayerd network security protocols such as WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES].
